I go back and forth on that one, but I'd agree that a case could be made there.

Paradise Towers I'm rather fond of. I can see what they're trying to do there even if they don't quite pull it off. Richard Briers episode 4 performance doesn't help but I can see what he's going for. Aye, I can certainly see what they were going for - which was basically a version of High Rise. The unsettling atmosphere is there, which works for what they were getting at, but it's just too long. Delta & The Bannerman OTOH has matured nicely. Time has been very kind to it. About the only thing that doesn't work for me is the destruction of the coach, killing off of Murray and all the innocent tourists. It just feels wrong like it doesn't fit with the feel of the story. Yeah, that really doesn't fit the mood of it all, and seems needlessly cruel. Dragonfire was people's favourite story of the season when broadcast but unlike it's predecessor time has not been kind to it. A budget Aliens rip off with a few bells on. Yeah, I can see why people would've liked it at the time, but that may be mostly down to what had come before. Still, the bad guy gets a nice, grisly death, which was unexpected and probably helped.

The Five Doctors has been watched!
Great stuff, but slower paced than I remember, and there's not nearly enough of them on screen all together!
Obviously Fourth wasn't there at all which was obviously shame.
Nothing mentioned on if Susan is a Time Lord or not! Is she a Time Lord or what?! Goshdarnit!

Not remembered any of this series so far. None of it.
I remembered bits of the last series, and The Five Doctors of course, but nothing from series 21.

New DWM is here
S15 is out 18th March
Which brings me to a matter I'm contemplating and raised on the call last week:
I now have half of my DW stories that I own on DVD on BD in Stunning Howard Donald.
I am eyeing up the long shelf of DVDs and wondering how much space I'd save by removing the DVDs who's stories I have in a BD season set. I can recall getting to the same stage with the VHS.
Could I pull the superseded DVDs off the shelf to save space?
If I stuck the BD sets in their place could I cope with the oscillating spine heights and colours?
Or do I compact the DVDs down and have all the BDs together at one end?

I find the wall of DVD's to be a nicer display than the blu-rays. Very satisfying slotting stories in place (which still happens when a previously unreleased story is put out animated). I have been trained from birth to think of DW as discrete stories! Not seasons! I get no thrill from lining up season boxsets.
