My word that trailer is bobbins, Almost as daft as the horse called Dobbins. Meanwhile I am watching The Monster of Peladon, When I watch four more episodes it will be gone. Why has this a bad rep, my mouth is agape! It features a giant green penis in a cape!

You're only 2 eps in.
Did you know Dobbin appeared in a DW story ?

Would that be Warriors of the Deep? If that is the answer my Who-fu I get to keep!

WH Smiths are running a promo on Doctor Who DVD's, Featuring old and new tales that gives folk the screaming heebie-jeebies! At £8 a pop even I was tempted by The Two Doctors, Though thankfully I was kidnapped by evil helicopters.

Doctor Who is back on our screens from April 5th, fact-fans. Huzzah. Fingers crossed for the return of the Nimons, led into battle by the Ergon atop the Myrka.

RAAARRRRRRRGGGH! Say the Nimon.
Good grief. You have put the mental image in my head now. I can just see the Tenth Doctor wandering around a labyrinth of tunnels muttering to himself about how it all seems familiar, the moving walls, and the people being dropped into the maze by the locals and then suddenely turning around with a mad gleam in his eye and saying something like:-
"Of Course! I should have guessed! Well, come on out then. Seize the moment. Take the bull by the horns and all that!"

Cheap Who in Asda at the moment. The individual discs from New Who from S1 to S3 are all £8.00 a pop.

In other news, I just finished working my way through a classic Who DVD. For a story with only two twenty-five minute episodes, "The Sontaran Experiment" has certainly provided plenty of bang for my buck. Between the episodes themselves - which are quite good stuff - a documentary, and a commentary track that makes four evenings viewing that I have got out of that disc. Well and truly value for the £6 that it cost me. Karl

I'm assuming we've all seen the trailers now. The shot with Martha looking all evil and covered in goo doesn't look promising.

The Martha shot didn't really stick in my mind until you mentioned it (the one that stayed in memory was the slightly camp marching of a moderately well-known race of space conformists....). However, I know the shot you mean. Combining that shot with the rumours of which monsters are supposed to be in the Un.I.T. episodes this year does suggest some story possibilities. But in general, goo is never a good thing. Karl

That'd be the one. I hadn't really made that connection until nw. But with you having mentioned in, along with the "met the right man once" line from the previous trailer..... it just adds more mirth value to the otherwise silly "everyone who travels with him is in love with the Doctor" meme. (The "Doctor Who" equivalent of the "practically everyone is functionally bisexual" meme that infects "Torchwood")

Looks like the first of the spin-offs to fall has been Totally Doctor Who. It seems quietly absent from the schedules. Hilariously, it appears to have been stealth cancelled without anyone noticing. Probably redundant now CBBC have The Sarah Jane Adventures.
In other news, anyone in need of amusement, have a look on OG. They are having fits over Who's 6:20pm timeslot. I have seen the actual phrase 'Doctor Who is doomed' used five times so far. Hysterical!

Was spotted some while ago. Twas an announcement at some stage though I find not a link to it. The rraving is due to earlier timed eps in previous years not havin performed so well. I'm not entirely surprised to see "Totally Doctor Who" go down in honesty. It wasn't doing anything other shows targeted at that age group weren't doing, so it was kind of coasting on the "Doctor Who" effect. As to OG's raving, it does look rather like an over-reaction. True, episodes in the earlier time slot did not perform as well, but that isn't the same thing as performing badly. I can't see the earlier slot eroding viewers enough to cause "Doctor Who" to fail as such. The worst I would expect is it falls a couple of slots from its number one position. (Which it probably wouldn't have held onto much longer anyway. It's three years old and no longer new and shiny, attrition is likely to start to kick in now anyway). Karl

So: "I HAVE BECOME A HUUUUUMAN DAAAALEKKKK!". You shall have to imagine the gurning.

Episode titles for all bar episode 12 of series 4 are in the current Radio Times. OG's servers will melt down at episode 6's title. If I listen carefully, I can almost hear the screaming.

I've had a look at the titles and based on what they are and the previous three series I wouldn't be surprised if all the Davros stuff is a bit of a swerve. We might get Davros but I reckon it will be the one from the parallel universe that Rose is in.
