Having a great time here despite a head-cold. I should really get to bed though.

Begone, all stupid Christmas illnesses!
(Except perhaps the self-inflicted ones, if they lead to healthy New Year resolutions...)
I don't normally bother with New Year resolutions, but I have a few this year, foremost among them watching S4C (wth English subtitles) to improve my understanding of spoken Welsh.

Slight seasonal lurgy was not enough to prevent a splendid christmas day in the company of some of my friends. Great food, some wine and much good banter and conversation.
Peppered with some christmas tv highights and the realisation that Eastenders is perhaps the most unintentionally funny program of all time.

We lost our intended worship leader yesterday morning to the bug. So 15 mins before the service started we had a new unrehearsed set of song. Which changed as the service progressed. By the end of the morning I had someone running for me between projection pc at the back and the worship team at the front.
Ate far too much. Lots of goodies from the robot Santa
Liz got Jonathan's cold which promptly played her Asthema up so it was down to the walk in clinic this morning for some steroids. She might as well go andmget them the moment J gets the cold.
J loves his Fisher Price garage that grandma and grampy got him !

Glad to hear J is digging his Christmas toys!

I still have my Fisher Price garage from when I was Jonathon's age. Along with the Happy Apple it is the childhood toy I have given firm instructions that it should never be thrown out.

MERRY, MESSY CHRISTMAS SPORTS FANS!!!!!
Family Shockprowl have had a realy nice time. Mrs Shockprowl's folkes Christmas day, and then my folke's yesterday for Chirstmas day two. Piglet loved opening her prezzies, dear God she got sooo much stuff!!!! Typically, despite all the huge expensive stuff she's got, her fave is a small, wooden mouse key ring! What ya gunna do?!
At last, I was able to free MP Skywarp. He's the dog's dangelies, love him. Standing proud next to Starscream. I do have a slightly funny tummy today from all the booze/rich party food that I've consumed! Need a steadier day today digestion wise me thinks!
Hope everyone's Christmas is going ok and you're all alright. HAPPY CHRISTMAS CYBER CHUMBS!!!!!

Howdy folks. Had a good Christmas, and a very lazy boxing day catching up with Wallace & Gromit/ Doctor Who etc. Had so much turkey, and of course...sausages.

I just realised this morning that 'Tentakil' of the Seacons is a play on words of 'tentacle'. Only took me 20 years to work that one out.

This weekend the Evil Empire experienced one of the laziest, stress free shifts in a long time. Most relaxing. Just what was needed inbetween Christmas and New Year!

After feeling fit as a fiddle yesterday I'm yet again stricken with the bloody space lurgy again. This is getting beyond a joke now. Will pop round to the local quack's post-New Year as there is clearly something not right with my immune system. Ugh.

Been stuck with a bit of a headcold over the last week, nothing major but a niggle nevertheless. Perhaps this is the last throes of the lurgy and you were maybe a little overambitious yesterday.

Work tomorrow should be *fascinating*. When I left on Saturday evening we had, apart from what was on the shelves, no more:
Lego K'nex Meccano Magnext Mega Bloks Jigsaws Board Games Action Figures (any of them) Hot Wheels Die Cast Cars Remote Control Cars Scalextric sets Robots Creative toys (Spirograph, Etch-a-sketch etc) Science toys
and those were just the sections I noticed. If we don't get another delivery soon we're going to have to start roping off empty aisles. The 'credit crunch' seems to have impacted sales of high-end stuff like PS3s and bikes (although most of the cheaper bikes are gone and we've done a brisk trade on Wii stuff) but TRU high command seems to have underestimated the knock-on effect this would have on smaller toy items.
At least we can be reassured that our jobs aren't in jeopardy, but in the short term... what am I gonna do all day? Picking up the phone and saying "Hi! Yeah, we've no' got any." only fills up so much of the day!

Woooooo! I gots me £20 Forbidden Planet vouchers...which means either two smaller Animated toys, or a biggun.
Despite my love for Blitzwing the toy doesn't inspire me upon closer inspection - so it'll depend on what they have in stock.
I was close to buying Grindcore, for name only - perhaps this will be my chance.
