I used to smoke my own sausages in a sausage smoking contraption that my step dad invented in our back yard! I must find a picture.... Anyways - I love pepperoni pizza. In the US, I ate Pappa John's Pizza with Jalepinio peppers as a side dish mmmmm.... In Poland, there is a Polish pizza joint called Dominium (rip off of the old Dominos pizza in the states!) thankfully- although the name is a bit of a rip off, the pizza is grand! Although nothing beats good ol' New York style pizza... And in Poland they don't have Jalepinios and whenever I ask people look at me funny... (As an aside, one of the most amusing things about Poland is that although their language is - for a westerner - full of extremely un-pronouncible words.... Poles have a particular problem with pronouncing Spanish types of words! Our one Brazilian born football player's last name is some standard Hispanic name, but we all just call him Roger - because it's easier to pronounce)... Err...anyways...sausages.... smoked dry sausages are the best. Also love to cook up - rather fry up some sausages and scrambled eggs... Salami sandwitches are a gem. Oh - and particularly fond of Subway sandwitches ---mmmm...foot long...err...although in Europe that really doesn't work given the metric system... but...foot long ...mmmm....lovely tasty sandwitches. Pete

As an aside, one of the most amusing things about Poland is that although their language is - for a westerner - full of extremely un-pronouncible words.... You're right there. In the factory where I work the Poles outnumber the English workers 5 to 1 and not a single day goes by without hearing conversations that sound like someone is trying to say the Countdown Conundrum. I have however learn't to say a few Polish swear words but I'd be buggered if I can spell them!

For some reason I seem to have become the designated "Eastern European pronunciation expert" in my office. I think mostly because I am prepared to have a stab at pronouncing folks names, whereas some of my colleagues prefer not to. I'm not always right, but I often get close enough to get points for trying.
Also - I had a couple of sausages between french bread for my tea this evening. Very civilised indeed, and went well with a nice cup of peppermint tea.

I can't eat sausages anymore, I like pigs too much now and the last sausage I had was mostly water in sort of imploded and deflated.....................it was so sad.

The Adbot has now come up with an advert for 'Sexy Polish Girls'. Might give that a try as the Polish girls in my factory all have nice arses!

On a bit of a sausage roll addiction phase currently. The best ones I can find in Glasgow are from Aulds. Pricier, but bringers of immense joy.

The swear filter had been tampered with and sausages had become melons for a time.
