They are the X Factor winners of the food world.
I had some jolly nice cocktail sausages at my brother's house yesterday. Just the right amount of crispness at the ends. I don't know where he had them from, but Tesco seems likely.

My turkey came with sausage meat-loaf this year, as it is far easier n the day than messing around cooking actual sausages. A very nice sausage meat-loaf it was too.

Just before New Year I found Sizzling Sausage flavour Pringles!
I went back for more today but they were all gone. My rage was immense.

Liz was given some 100% meet tuscan sausages for Christmas. We had them for lunch today and they were gorgeous. We've broken the wild boar sausages (courtesy of The Bath Sausage Shop) out of the freezer for tea tomorrow

I recentley started helping out with the church cleaning fellowship on Monday and Tuesday mornings. I help out with heavy lifting, setting up the playgroup facilities etc and get free breakfast. Part of the breakfast meet involves everyone contributing £1 each towards a scheme called "A Pig for Romania" (I think) in which the proceeds at the end of each month can afford to buy a Pig for a Romanian family.
The said pig is aparentley almost enough to feed a small family for a whole year thus sorting that family out with a longtime supply of sausages.
I need to scan the literature on it as it is an unusual but worthy cause.

I had a work-related eat and drink last night in the Old Arcade, the pub we went to after Nick and I came out of church when some of you visited last year. First thing I saw on the menu: "Bangers and mash: Winner of the Pub Sausage of the Year Award 2007/2008". I felt it my Hub duty to order. There were three of them and they were delicious. Martin

I'll tell yas something, guys, Piglet eating sausages has to be one of the modern wonders of the world. She's s sausage eating machine. She enters this hypnotic state and munches away. The volume of sausages she puts away defies all belief. And best of all she calls them "Shoshiges".

I have a sad sausage related disaster to relate to you all. Last night, I popped into a chippy for a sausage supper. But I found that they had not been cooked properly and a sore tummy would result where I to consume them. So I had to throw them in a bin. I wept.
