The post Wrestlemania cull is something they tend to do most years, though do tend to skip it now and then. I think they actually went a few years recently without doing it, but broight it back.

Watched the ESPN 30for30 documentary on Rik Flair last night (via Star channel on Disney+).
Nothing in there that isn't already known, but it's a whistle stop celebration of his career.
Was surprised to see Triple H admitting that they could circumvent wellness policy checks on Reid Flair before his passing though (although it's not stated what he was positive for on the first test, be it steroids or recreational drugs).

Caught a clip of JBL's Hall of Fame speech. Basically said "you know those bullying accusations? Yeah, screw you, I'm in the hall of fame" and then pulled down his pants slapped his ass and blew a raspberry. OK I may have embellished that a little in the paraphrasing, but regardless, it was still poor form.

Dark Side of the Ring - Warrior documentary didn't really share too much new. Just made me dislike Jim Ross a little more, he really is a bitter old man these days and needs to fuck off. Bischoff continues to be full of shit.
I should say I love Warrior the wrestler, detest Warrior the person.

Same about Warrior. I really enjoyed most of Double or Nothing. Dark Side of the Ring is covering Grizzly Smith this week. I might give that one a miss.
I'm both surprised and not surprised by the recent cull of WWE releases: Lana, Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Ruby Riott, Santana Garrett and Buddy Murphy.

Checked out the Summerslam results, does genuinely feel that Vince and WWE are rattled by AEW now. Can't recall them blinking and reacting to competition in such a blatant and visible way.

Alright, The Rock vs Rowan at WM32 - Rowan was just a Wyatt Family lacky so it's a bit more passable, but you still want a few more iconic moves of offence.
But in this case - Bianca Belair definitely shouldn't be made to look so weak, especially after the build to the rematch vs Banks. Sure, Lynch is coming off of pregnancy and looking after a very young baby so likely has a bit of ring rust, but in that case don't book it. Have the stare down... I guess they figured they couldn't do that with Lesnar closing out with a similar situation. Like you say, all seemed quite reactionary. |

He really needs to let it go.
The hatred of Omega is pathetic, even if you accept what he has done has damaged the business, he doesn't have that level of hatred for Vince, who is objectively a much more destructive force in pro-wrestling.
