I'll avoid spoilers just now as I know Stomski might watch it but if you head over to www.rajah.com/base the results and a review are up. Yeah I watch TNA Impact as well, great roster, utterly appalling storylines. Andy although I miss the days when WWE was on either Ch4 or 5! & it had the likes of Mick Foley, Goldberg, Rakkishi, APA, Test, Triple H, Booker T, Chyna, Mae Young(puppies) & Stone Cold. half of them have been in movies Triple H(Blade Trinity), Goldberg(Universal Soldier 2), Stone Cold(The Condemned, Expendables + many others)

Could be me, but I felt the Rumble was a bit shorter than previous years. Dang fine match though.

I think it was more that it wasn't on last than anything else.
I do think the ending of it went a bit quick once the two longest surviving participants were eliminated.

I watched the Rumble up until the final five, then turned it off as I couldn't have cared less. The main reason I enjoy the Rumble's is for the surprise participants, which were really lackluster this year. I was hoping for an X-Pac, Billy Gunn or even reading the Shane helms was backstage, so disappointed that no one I wanted to see entered. I didn't bother watching any other matches as I couldn't care less about those either.

Oh I loved the No.2 entrant, that was quite welcome.

I don't class No.2 as a surprise entrant. As far as I was aware he was still under contract, just away doing other things and was always due to return once they were done.

Talk about any matches other than CMPunk vs The Rock from RR, thanks Caught a bit of TNA last week - wtf is going on with that guy who got trained up? His gimmick is to red haze and the not remember that he went psycho when he gets his composure back after winning the match...? Also Sting copied Heath Ledgers Joker last year? Why? Why would they do this?

Are you referring to Joseph Park Stormski? The storyline is that he is the brother of Abyss, who came to TNA looking after Abyss went missing, when in reality he is Abyss. The red haze and going Psycho is him switching to the Abyss mindset briefly before snapping out of it. I don't believe TNA have made any mention to him actually being Abyss yet when he does it.

I believe it is indeed Joseph Park. Abyss has appeared via a body double (courtesy of a masked Team 3D trainee with similar build) on and off for run-ins, but not recently. Both Abyss and Joseph Park are in-characters of Chris Park.
The Abyss character has been rested for now, probably due to the Aces & 8's storyline.

Yeah it is.
Such a waste. I remember when Abyss was a genuinely imposing and threatening presence in TNA, like so many people who they have buried.

OK, got round to watching The Rock vs CMPunk. Enjoyed it a lot, much, much better than The Rock vs John Cena. Lights going out was a little comical, but this is pro wrestling after all.
Did The Rock genuinely hurt his knee when the Spanish announce table collapsed?

Nothing from the usual sources to say he was hurt, probably just selling to cover the unexpected collapse.
Was a good match, looking forward to the rematch at the Elimination Chamber.

He seemed to be nursing it a little later on in the match, normally after the fight has moved on the wrestlers forget these fake injuries.

No Wrestlemania discussion? Quite enjoyed the whole thing, no ladies match was a good idea. CM Punk's top rope elbow drop into Taker on the announce table that doesn't break( ). Rock vs Cena was a little slow and had too many countered attempts to signature moves, as much as I love the Rock he just seems sluggish.

The Rock and Cena II match tanked pretty badly. Rock had been injured too, so that can't have helped.

ROYAL RUMBLE TONIGHT!
Off to Mr Spence's for a few beers and some laughs as we watch one of the Big Four and one of my personal favourites in terms of WWE Pay Per View events.
Predictions - I think there's a high chance of Batista winning in, but they do like a swerve so I wouldn't be surprised to see Punk or even Daniel Bryan grab it. If we had a face champion right now I'd have said Roman Reigns was a lock to win. But I think we might see the Shield break up around Mania time.

Punk is one of my favorites for the rumble match. If he doesn't win, he may sure beat Kane's elimination score and have him walk away with that accolade.
Batista is a cert also. He's won before IIRC. This could be Roman Reigns breakout match too. He's rumored to feud with HHH later this year, and I think the Shield will breakup at mania too. They need to stay together amongst all the singles matches likely to take place at that PPV.

{Spoiler}Well the crowd shat on that PPV from a great height. Poor Rey Misterio getting a heel turn by simply running to the ring and having the cheek to not be Daniel Bryan!
I have to say that we must NEVER ever see another Cena v Orton match. Enough already.

So if the internet scuttlebutt is to believed CM Punk has walked out on WWE. That leaves a hole in the roster big style if it's true.

Its possibly a work. Time will tell.
TNA didn't take long to rub it in by posting a Best of CM Punk in TNA Wrestling match collection on their youtube page.
Looking forward to Elimination Chamber.

Just heard this morning that Nelson Fraser (Big Daddy V/Viscera/Mabel/King Mabel) passed away last night.
Much liked his earlier Men on a Mission tag-team gimmick with Mo.

What made you stop? I've been disappointed with Wrestlemania the past few years, but I have a feeling WM30 may be really something.
Plus, there's prospects (if the dirtsheets are correct) that Sting will wrestle his retirement bout against the Undertaker next year.
Also looks like I won't be catching it live either. Babysitting arrangement may be falling through.

HOF ceremony was a mixed bag. Very much enjoyed DDP inducting Jake, Kevin Nash inducting Razor Ramon and Kane inducting Paul Bearer. The rest was not all that grand. Lita went on too long, Mr T kept talking about his mum, I couldn't care less about Carlos Colon and the Warrior was a little disappointing as he didn't go off the rails.
