Good to see it available for more than the 100 of us with the original novel.
At the risk of appearing thick, what is the cover an illustration of? I'm finding it difficult to parse the image, sorry!

Jim Bob is born to work for IDW. He's already got a boner for variant covers.

Aside from the aqua fortis reference, is there any other significance to the rust-filled cover?

Hip-hip-hip hurrah!
Should be all the better received by the larger TF fandom, now that the UK comics have been reprinted by Titan and IDW for a US audience. And Nick Roche's endorsement should boost downloads!
The continuity notes are new and v. good, and I see Jim has humoured me by implementing a ton of typo corrections. This is a more polished text than the book version.
Though I will always keep my paperback copy pristine in a protective plastic cover. Probably the rarest (and best-written) TF book out there!

Ho-ho! 'Snafu' is now 'The Chaos of Warm Things', and the opening line has changed. The edits run deep!
Which means... a full re-read is in order.

Wonderful to see this available once more. Now it can inveigle its way into more minds, which can only be a good thing.
I am currently watching it spool down through my broadband collection as I type this. Was thinking of re-reading Eugen in the near future anyway - I think I shall read this new and refitted version and allow me hardcopy to rest up a bit.

Hiya. Sorry, didn't get time to register here earlier. That would be absolutely awesome. Although it's a spoiler, just getting someone to read the Postscript might be enough. "He was never afraid of peace; not like some." still resonates at every glance. There isn't a whole lot to explain -- got sent the files, having [ delete as applicable: pestered James / extended the offer of hosting on behalf of Brendan ] in the past. Somewhat hurried page construction, bit of wrangling with fonts and PDF creation methods, but hopefully I haven't stuffed anything up. Finally somewhere to point people towards to read one of my favourite stories ever, TF or otherwise.

And it is thoroughly appreciated by all of us here. Like you say it's good to be able to point people in the direction of the material and saying read it and you'll know why we all thing it's absolutely tremendous.

This is great news. I found out last month the t**t I loaned my copy to has 'lost' it. Gah fills me with rage everytime I think about that.

Hey the postscript explains the term 'Eugenesis Wars'. That's new isn't it. I always remembered being bugged by that in later stories as Eugenesis was the title of the book and the Transformers wouldn't have knowledge of that. But it was Ultra Magnus who coined the term! I knew it was Reductionist propaganda.

If you thought Eugenesis was good before, try reading it with the TF (2007) score playing in the background.

The spin that the ruling powers put out to cover the truth about the Neogens and the true origin of the Transformers species is surely the only propaganda to be seen? :-) Karl

Heretic! I believe in Primus not P.R.I.M.U.S. You look and see the magic of gods of Light and Chaos. I look and see Clarkian "sufficiently advanced technology". If this be heresy then so be it. Karl

Bah! The true path to enlightenment is constant reincarnation in the AllSpark, recycled into new life in a reborn universe until we reach nirvana!
Unless you're Optimus Primal, then you yanked back. Rhinox is the Devil!
