Just thought I'd join the fun and throw a few TF relate stuff out here. See what ya think! Good ole Smokescreen EJ Su's Blitzwing, boxart style Done for a colouring Comp on IDW's forums, hand painted by moi, drawn by a dude I know only as Polystyleneman. And lastly, a piece I call "The Darthy Maulbanger"

That's some really nice stuff.
I keep meaning to nip onto the IDW board and check out their competitions - but the atmopshere on there has put me right off. Seems to be some sort of board-war every twenty seconds.

I keep out of the actual comic forums myself, too many spoilers for those of us this side of the pond who don't get our comics regular. The Competition side is all friendly though.

Yeah the IDW boards are pretty toxic sadly.
That's some good work there, Smokescreen looks really cool, oozing with attitude.

Some nice stuff there - the Smokescreen is very nice, I like the elongated style to it. The Blitzwing-after-Su is quite striking too.

'kay, Burn-Up, an OC. (get exalted if you can guess his exact alt. mode!) and Razorclaw, who was, if you'll excuse the expression, a bitch to draw.

Inspired by the Auto Assembly fanzine class photo thingie(hereafter referred to as the AAFCPT), here's my take on Brawn. I figured he'd be safe to post as someone else claimed him, so this guy won't be used, and therefore won't spoil the surprise.

Some great work there, the Razorclaw is really nice, not a character you see much in fan art.

That Brawn is a rather good piece of work. Lankier than I tend to immediately think of, but a very nice interpretation.

That's just my style. You should see Huffer... God forbid I should ever try and draw Bulkhead.

It's quite cool, Kev Hagan has a similar approach to Transformers as well. I do so love seeing all sorts of different approaches, and it's probably why the Dreamwave era sticks in my craw so much.

That's just my style. You should see Huffer... God forbid I should ever try and draw Bulkhead. I'd be fascinated to see how that came out. I love seeing different interpretations of characters, especially when they aren't necessarily how I would immediately think of them. One of the things we were blessed by on the original US and UK comics was a certain lack of "house style" on the artwork, meaning different artists gave us very different interpretations in the artwork. I never like it when artists are forced to cohere to an imposed style, the end result tends to be very dead looking artwork. Karl

Very nice. I like the lanky look to Mirage especially. There is something about that long and tall look that works for his personality.

This one is a collaberation between my bro and I. I post it in his gallery because I update mine so often it don't really need the traffic. The idea was mine, I believe, I might be wrong. My brother did some thumbnails and we chose our favourite. I did rough pencils for the final which he then filled in and inked, and then I coloured it. Hope you guys dig it; I think it's awesome!
