Beyond excellent! I'm not saying beyond in which direction, though.
Quote of the video: "Perhaps Mega Bots aren't as terrible as they probably are."
I was somewhat intrigued by the various Lego-based videos of this guy, which appeared in the "Related Videos" section:

Yay! More Pretenders.
Submarauder is one I've never owned. One day I'd like to though.

Going back to cheap TF's found in pound stores. A few years ago a brought a cheap Transforming toy from Poundstretcher. It looked so cheap that it could never have been a knock-off of anything Hasbro had made and half of it was made of die-cast metal which some parts of it a little difficult to transform. I transformed it a few times before putting it back in its box where its been for about two years now. I'd like to see what Ralph makes of this cheap piece of engineering.

Intriguing.
I do enjoy the Poundland Specials vids immensely and there will be more, but I like to space them out between the 'proper' transformer toys!

If you're a youtube user, feel free to subscribe! I would if I were but I'm not so I won't. Nice video - the original artwork comparison was a nice bonus. (Exclusive to Star Dub, I should hope!) Don't like the look of that Brawn toy at all though... it's an imposter! Outback can hold his gun in robot mode. You can balance it like a bazooka on his shoulder, supported at the front by his hand and at the back by his wing. Martin

You'll get to learn more of the imposter Brawn toy in the next video!
Glad you liked the art spotlight bit.

I cheered aloud 6 minutes in, and can see many True Collectors wincing in pain.
Tough therapy for misguided fools who keep their TFs MISB.
I had to re-read the bit at the end. I thought it said the first ever Transformers trowel review.

I demand that a Transformers trowel be released and be called something like PercyThrower!

I watched with just one eye open until I established that it didn't involve a practical demonstration of the towel, at which point I judged it safe to open the other eye. I liked the Police Squad moment in the final three seconds of the end credits. And the bit where you humorously faded out into remembrances of a time gone by... Martin

I never tire of your reviews Ralph. They're certainly more watchable than some of the home-made stuff that can be found on Youtube.

What I enjoy most is that they are genuine. A lot of the reviews are trying to be cool or edgy or funny and it comes off as forced. Ralph's are entertaining, whimsical and amusing and when he likes something you can tell he it's a genuine sentiment as opposed to a platitude.

Watched a few of these today - meant to be looking for a job, but procrastination is more fun - and enjoyed the weird trip-out bit in Longtooth and thought Nick made a good foil for Ralph's dancing robot performance in the Seacons one. Good work.

You get those kind of people. I watched an episode of Knightmare on Youtube about a fortnight ago via the link posted in the TV discussions thread and after several comments praising the show there was one telling all of the other posters to 'get their dicks out of the USB socket and wake up to real life!'
