Didn't air in the UK until this year as far as I know. The English dub was done for the Pacific market as I recall. It is most famous for airing on StarTV (and is thus often refered to as the "Star Dub" or "Star TV dub"). It is much reviled by those who take their Transformers cartoons quite seriously, and beloved of folk like myself who can spot a couple of the cast and greet them as familiar voies for the dubbing they have done for things like Godzilla movies and the hack-dub of the Macross movie.
