I'll have to dig out my Headmasters DVD's again and watch the whole series with the English dub. When I first brought the DVD's I watched the first six episodes with the dub before giving up on it as a bad idea and watched the rest of the series with the original Japanese audio.

Ah, a high quality "Headmasters" style fight-scene there.
I was amused by the line "The Decepticons have turned into wild-beasts" coinciding with us seeing the Predacons on screen. I can't quite decide how literaly we are meant to take the narration.

It's especially funny when the special teams combine to form a super-robot, who then demonstrate their amazing power by running at each other.

To insert a video just hit the youtube button in the Add tags section when replying.
It will add . In the middle just put in the text from the youtube link that comes after the = and it will embedd.

Ralph fired on one of the Madman dvds when I was through last week and yet again it reminded me of how big a bunch of pricks the Autobot Targetmasters are and also that the deadliest occupation in the universe is being friends with Chromedome.

I love Headmasters Galvatron... it's like Megatron returned to "being himself" - the "craziness" was cured and the ol' Decepticon leader was back...only with double the HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! There's just something so wonderfully corny and precious about these dubs. Gosh - It's been ages since I've watched Japanese Headmasters. If only the would reissue the Headmasters.... I was going to say at least there are no robots lusting after organics in Headmasters, but then I remembered there is one episode when Brainstorm or Highbrow wants some alien chick who flies about on the back of a giant bird. Sorry I have been watching season 2 lately, and came across Sea Change and The Girl Who Loved Powerglide. Very disturbing episodes. |
