After Phil revealing the 35 year old spoilers on Saturday while tryingto debunk my Thunderclash theory I decided to get on with Masterforce.
The Western names in the dub are taking some getting used to.

Thats the point at which I posted, but frankly kids called Hosehead and Siren and Minerva being called Nightbeat are equally mad.
I guess it would be worth taking the dvds and adding the dub, but that seems like a big projectand I cant be bothered.

Masterforce is a genuinely good series that is better watched without the viewer being distracted by a comedy dub. Masterforce should be watched in Japanese with non-comedy subtitles. Martin |

Yes, Ralph, yes. There are weaker series like Headmasters and Victory that can be made more watchable by an amateur comedy dub, but it only harms Masterforce.

I can't watch any of the dubs. They're good for a one off episode, but over the whole series? No ta. I'm with Martin, Masterforce (and Victory, to a lesser degree) are genuinely good shows that should be taken at their strongest.

Masterforce is brilliant whether dubbed or subbed.
Headmasters is dull subbed, but dubbed is one of the most amusing cartoon...ever! Love it.
I prefer Victory dubbed, but subbed is ok.
