I've never heard of that one but according to Wikipedia it aired on American TV in the mid 80's. Whether it made it across the pond during the decade I have no idea.
Also I have recently found this on Youtube. This is a British series that I can vaguely remember watching in the 80's called Bill the Minder although the only copy of the show on Youtube is in Swedish!
Another show that I watched in the 80's was one hosted by David Bellamy and was called Bellamy's Bugle. As with a large amount of the stuff I remember watching back in the day very little information about the show can be found the web.

I used to watch a CBBC show called Bluebirds which had Eastenders alumni Martine McCutheson (I think that's how the name is spelled) in it.

Both Mr Benn and Battle of the Planets were made in the 70's and also originally broadcast in that decade but they were repeated in the 80's so I guess they both count.
My first contribution for today is of an all time classic with a theme tune sung by Doctor Who and his missus!

You're probably the only person I know who remembers something other than Princess doing backflips in Battle of the Planets! I was going to put Bucky O'Hare in this list but upon checking it up the cartoon only started in the early 90's despite the comic book coming out in the 80's so I opted for something else. This is a creepy Christmas kids drama from the mid 80's. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BxxdE9GvZc

I watched an episode of Bravestarr recently and its still good to watch after all of these years. There was actually a rumour doing the rounds on the net some time ago regarding Bravestarr. If he had eyes of a hawk, ears of a wolf, strength of a bear and speed of a puma people reckoned he also had the dick of a horse! Anyway onto another show from the eighties and this one not only filled our screens in the Grange Hill slot from 1989 onwards but also made stars out of a couple of Geordie kids. www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2BhESCKniw

Never did watch that, I tended to not watch weekday CBBC. No clue why. I liked Live and Kiicking and Going Live, but weekdays I'd only turn to BBC1 to watch specific shows like Mysterious Cities of Gold.

I never actually watched it either but it was usually on in our house and we occasionally watched it as we waited for Neighbours to come on!

I should really put Look and Read amongst the the letter L in this thread but I thought that some of the individual series deserve their own mention. This one is one of my favourite L&R series - Badger Girl

Another more obscure show comes from the late 80's and I can't find bugger all about it on the net. I know I ain't making it up despite the tongue-in-cheek programme title. This one is called A Bear Behind and stars a backpack shaped like a bear that is worn on the back of human presenter and is actually capable of speech and movement. Surely somebody can remember this one ........ I hope! I have some memory of it, now that you mention it. I don't think I ever properly watched it, though, so I can't add any information, sorry. Nobody's mentioned Bagpuss yet. (Yes I know it was 70s, but it was repeated well into the 80s.) Nor Blue Peter. The Back to the Future cartoon was 90s, wasn't it?

I'd completely forgotten about Blue Peter while Bagpuss was one of my favourite shows to be repeated in the 80's. The show is currently being re-run on Nick Jnr but I give it a miss because I've seen it so many times it's just spoiled the nostalgia feel I used to hold for the programme.
The Back to the Future cartoon was indeed the 90's and was absolutely appalling. If me memory serves me correct it took place some time after the final movie (because the train time machine was in it as was Clara) but the DeLoren time machine was still in one piece even though it had been destroyed at the end of the third film. What was even worse however, was the fact that the doc's dog Einstein was now capable of driving the time machine himself!

I seem to recall it having filmed bits with Christoper Lloyd gurning in a cheap lab set somewhere.

There was a few live action bits in it but I don't think it was Christopher Lloyd but rather somebody dressed up to look like the doc.

Karla asked early on in this thread if Babar counted. After checking up on Wikipedia it was aired in America in 1989 but whether it made it to the UK in the same year I can't remember. Anyway, I used to enjoy watching it on Saturday mornings so here it is anyway!

And now for a montage of all of the Blue Peter theme tunes over the years showing how terrible the tune has become over time.
