Full Time Wars here in Pig Hill tonight with driving Ron and wind howling round house. In agony because of it and can't sleep. Pretty windy here again. Was tired enough that it didn't bother me and I slept through it. Still windy today but I plan on two lazy days as I shake off the last of the lurgy. Andy

Windy here and temperatures dropping already. No mere atmospheric anamoly will stop me hiding in the cinema all day to avoid it though.

Yeah, it was pretty lively on the south side as well. My mum prefers to open the windows in the morning to air the place out regardless of the outside temperature, but today they got half an hour before they got closed up to stop the internal doors from slamming and swinging open all the time. Eesh.

I'm told all trains between Glasgow and Edinburger are cancelled. Yet the weather is fine here. Bit cold. Nothing else.

Nick had offered to give me Grimlocks but I had prior arrangement for a day trip so had to honour that. Just got notice trip cancelled due to weather. Yet where I am today (local area/library) has been blue skies and no wind or rain. Not even that cold. I must be in a parallel universe.

Well we had a snowpocalypse for about 15 mins then the blue skies and calmness returned. That was it.

We've had strong wind and hail here this morning, followed by rain, strong wind and snow in various combinations. It only really quietened down after sundown, but I can hear the rain strengthening again at the moment.

Still raining in Glasgow. The city and its sewer system appear to be saturated, and there's so much surface water it's difficult to get around on foot in non-waterproof shoes. My trousers, jacket, gloves and shoes are drying by the radiator after coming back from Mass. Hope they'll be dry in time.

The Storm Devil is causing massive travel chaos for Nick. Can't believe he would stoop so low as to stop a genuine white coated scientist returning to his lab.

Calm day here. In fact I plan for my evening stroll at 8pm. -Ralph Blustery through here still. As I am still a wee bit bleh I have been spared walking Susie. Though that will have to be done tomorrow come hell or high water. Andy

The rain has been constant and heavy here in Falkirk. There hasn't been any sign of a let up since yesterday morning - we are in much the same boat as Glasgow, with considerable water streaming off most raised surfaces. After my jaunt to the cinema I am rather expecting that it will take several days for my shoes to dry out.

Lots of wind and small snow flurries that don't lie.
Was a bit of thunder at 5am this morning as well, I was up letting Susie out to pee at the time.

Woke up this morning to find that there had been more snow overnight, and after my breakfast I looked out the window to see it had started snowing again. Fortunately, I am rather fond of snow so that works ok for me.

There was a dusting of snow here in Brum at some point through the night too. Adam Slater (of Auto Assembly fame) had some very picturesque images up on Facebook last night. Well, picturesque for Brum. Very slippy underfoot this morning, but it looks like it's starting to melt now.
