Well I've barely left the house, save to put rubbish in the bins, but it was nice and sunny.
Perfect weather for sitting inside and editing sketchbooks and drawing comics.

Have enjoyed lunch and a read of my book out in the sun the last couple of days. Hooray for the university turning the road outside my building I to a park!

Big chunk of our fence came down over night in the storms here. Posts snapped right off. Spent earlier part of evening pile it all up and making sure rusty nails were all made safe. No great loss as it is pretty manky and we've know. We need to replace it since we move in. Now to find someone to do it and a better job than the previous botch job.
Next door have lost tiles from one side of their roof which we found in our front garden on the *other* side of the house. Impressive. Did try to tell them but they are not up for interacting much in general and didn't come to the door when I knocked.

Heavy rain without a break since midnight here. Garden is turning to a giant pool currently and wind now whipping up again.
Nearby train line and sections of motorway have been closed due to flooding.

Just got back home an hour ago. My trainline was melting and apparently the only other one servicing the east of Manchester was too. Had to catch a tram to relatively nearby and then walk 40 mins home.
Unfortunately there are three family birthdays this Sunday which neccessitated three hours of walking around Manchester city centre before this.
Cold shower applied.

Pinwig now wonders if he put any beer in the fridge. Grotting about in school all day again tidying, sorting an redoing display boards. Then came home and decided to wash the car.
