Just got back home an hour ago. My trainline was melting and apparently the only other one servicing the east of Manchester was too. Had to catch a tram to relatively nearby and then walk 40 mins home. Unfortunately there are three family birthdays this Sunday which neccessitated three hours of walking around Manchester city centre before this. Cold shower applied. DRINK. THE BEER.M does not drink. -Ralph

Poisons and premature death do not interest me.
Unless it is potential therapeutic applications of spider venom.

...the air's thick. It claws at your body and skin, already weighed under by the sweat it's laboured from you. And it gets in your lungs, each heavy a breathe only filling you with more heat, not the relief you long for...

Proper rainpocalypse today. So heavy that I had to change all my clothing down to the pants after being caught in it! Some comics were also lost to the deluge as my bag could not withstand the torrent!

High winds here. Slightly concerned at big tree down the alleyway that now has branches leaning over our way very low very close to our fence. Trunk itself looks fine but keeping an eye on it..
