Yeah, it was the later reprints that returned the logo.
I understand it was "to mess with Pinwig"

Well I'm not having it. I'M NOT HAVING IT.
Those two naked copies can go to a charity shop, if anything just to see if they end up on the shelves or get SPIRITED AWAY like it seems every other Doctor Who book in the town's charity shops has. I might put a tracker in them to see where they go. I must have four logos.
THERE ARE FOUR LOGOS.

Why don't you draw a logo on them with a felt tip?

But.
The books are in TV series order and neither of those are TV stories! Well one is, but it doesn't have the doctor in. So they go at the end. Of the classic run. Not the new stuff.
Oh dear.

Many times... Many many times.
Ok, that I can see. But where does Pescatons go?

Post by blueshift on Aug 14, 2018 15:56:52 GMT
It should go where it takes place, in the S13 bit
UNLESS you also store your Missing Episodes books at the end as well, then an errata is acceptable.

The four new Target novelisations are here and plugged into the reading pile. I hate to be That Guy but the spine for Rose does not match! The DW logo is printed too far down compared to the others aaaarrrrrgggghhhhhhh. -Ralph I picked up the two of these that I didn't have recently and have just noticed that my copies of the Christmas Invasion and Twice Upon a Time have the target logo at the top of the spine, but they're fourth prints. The other books are earlier editions and don't. Andy, Ralph, you bought all of these very early on didn't you - do any of your books have the target logo at the top of the spine, or has it been added in reprints? Mine do not have Target logos on the spine though I have seen copies in the wild that do!!! -Ralph

Yeah, it was the later reprints that returned the logo. I understand it was "to mess with Pinwig" I was mildly annoyed that mine did not have the logo on the spine as the books had been heavily advertised as 'the first new Targets in decades'. I may have to buy them again. -Ralph

NO, PINWIG, NO. Doctor Who on TV goes like this: SURVIVAL-SEARCH OUT SCIENCE(++)-DIMENSIONS IN TIME*-THE TV MOVIE-SCREAM OF THE SHALKA-ROSE. -Ralph ++On disc 2 of Survival so in the correct place. *Sadly not available on DVD.**

Logopolis 28 February 1981-21 March 1981 K-9 and Company: 28 December 1981 Castrovalva 4-12 January 1982 Your transmission dates are correct but one of them is not a Doctor Who story. The clues are as follows: Doctor Who is not in it and the Doctor Who logo does not appear on screen. Can you guess which one this is? I presume you shove Torchwood and Sarah Jane Adventures discs in between Doctor Who episodes that aired around them then? -Ralph

Phil! Sideways books?! Blue, tell him. TELL HIM! I store plenty of books sideways as I do not have the space or furnishings for many proper book shelves. In this I find Phil...INNOCENT. But his Pescatons book should be in an errata section! -Ralph

Post by blueshift on Aug 14, 2018 19:04:45 GMT
Yes but storing them sideways is not part of your PLAN is it?
I mean in a perfect world they would be stored vertically.
Phil is saying his master plan for the Pescations is that is be stored horizontally.

Oh yes if I owned the place and could put more bookshelves in they would be stored vertically.
