Wasn't very good from what I recall. A massively dreadful edit job - Lynch had next to no involvement in it. Some interesting little bits but a waste overall.

It's brilliant. I haven't watched the new ones yet, but the last series dragged me in completely. I was hooked.

I'd forgotten about Ralph's anger at Robot Wars.
Heh.
Can't say I am interested in the relaunch, but the clip of the grown man going off in a cream puff because a kid beat him was hilarious.

I've just discovered I've never seen the third series of Chocky. I've been rewatching the first two over the last few weeks and have fond memories of those, but this third story is all new to me. I was sure I'd seen them all, but it seems not. Pleasant surprise.

The first episode of season 3 of Rick and Morty which has been highly anticipated for ages, dropped unexpectedly on April 1. Now that's a good April 1st stunt!
Also it is an absolutely amazing episode, one of the best!

Ive also watched the first two episodes of The Good Fight. I had to watch it because The Good Wife was so good, but also because its on CBS All Access in the States which will also be showing Star Trek Discovery so I was curious to see what sort of quality the show would be compared to its network parent.
To my surprise the first two episodes at least seem to be if anything higher quality than TGW (in terms of production value) so thats a good sign. Swearing is also allowed which would be an odd thing to hear on Trek.
So Good Fight good and has raised my expectation of Trek.

I have now been introduced to PERSON OF INTEREST and have watched the first two episodes. A mysterious computer spits out a social security number and the guy who was the crap Number 6 must KILL MANY MEN to find out THE ANSWER to why the person who is attached to that social security number is in DEADLY DANGER. Enjoyable tosh so far.

Mrs P is out for the evening, which means I get to watch "one of my crap old films". In this instance, the Dolph Lundgren version of The Punisher. 80s action at its finest.

Enjoyable tosh so far. -Ralph It is a fun show. Gets better as it goes and as they slowly add to the core cast. It is also one of my favourite "hyper-competent people" shows - John Reese is basically Demigod of Shattered Kneecaps to a degree which hovers right on the border of hilariousness. By coincidence, I'm in the process of watching the final season of it at the moment on Five USA. Karl

Have just finished watching the last episode of Mafia: The Making of the New York Mob on Discovery History - starting with the origins of the Cosa Nostra right up to Carlo Gambino taking over the New York Mob.
A mix of dramatised historical events and talking heads. A few old wiseguys, historians, Thomas Dewey's grandson, Meyer Lanskey's grandson and some actors who have portrayed wiseguys pop up throughout. Enjoyable stuff.

The drama docs these channels are coming up with now are beginning to be worth watching. I saw the National Geographic drama/doc series on Mars recently. In truth, the doc bits were more interesting than the drama, but it was an impressive attempt at uniting the two.
