Have I told the University Jaffa Cake story here? I do not remember a Jaffa Cake story. A couple of years before I went to Royal Holloway the Computer Science department was involved in a machine vision project to check that Jaffa Cakes had the right amount of jam in them in the right place. To accomplish this task they had been given a large number of samples for testing the system. As a result, by the time I Came Up* there were a number of rather elderly Jaffa Cakes in the computer science department and you very quickly learnt to refuse one when offered. So I developed, for the preservation of my tummy, an aversion to them which I have only recently overcome. (* Is going to University "Going Down" or "Coming Up"?) |

Ralph has been a fan of the Sainsburgeries sandwich range for many a year. He has been dismayed to find that every single flavour he likes has been discontinued. He now spends about £12 less a week at their shop. Silly Sainsburgeries.
