You better share it this time and not lose it in your freezer again. Or there shall be words. Angry words.

While on my way to the Vegetarian in Kingston yesterday I was ambushed by people from one of the stalls on the market place offering me a food sample.
I liked it so much I went back today and got lunch from there!
Chicken Katsu pieces in a sweet chilli sauce with rice. Very much like Phil favourite Crispy Chill Beef. Amazing!

Spending binge at a food festival yesterday leaves my kitchen stocked with a venison pie, an apple and cinnamon bread loaf, two hand-made chick pea curries, two hand-made Bombay aloos, and two half-litre bottles of chocolate and mint (After Eight-flavoured) vodka liqueur.

Drink of EmperorsThe guy has an 'About' page that should appeal to '80s fans: retroshots.co.uk/about/I bought the only two bottles of the choc mint drink that he had with him, one of them being the display bottle. He gave me a discount. Edit: AAAH! And you can play Pacman in the Arcade section of his website!!! Martin

Much food was consumed over the course of my stag do this weekend. Ranged from thai (no idea what I ate or how to pronounce it. Did include an unusual new mushroom and a florescent green pancake though), to an American diner and to Reds True BBQ where we ate a lot of meat off a dustbin lid.

They do exist, other types of Pakora that is, but NOTHING compares to Chicken Pakora. It really is a thing of magnificence. For example, spinach pakora- perfectly nice, but NOTHING compared to chicken.

I almost regret to say something heretical *laughter* yeah, your right - I've never regretted a heresy so far... Whatever the virtues of the various things that can be cooked in pakora batter (and there are many things that could be coated in it), all of them pale into insignificance next to the Onion Bahji.

I do like an onion bahji... But nothing compares to chicken pakora.
Aaaaaaand I'm eating some right now. AND drinking beer. AND I'm wearing nothing but a loosely fitting toweling robe. UTTER heaven.
