A fine dinner last night from the kitchen of Mrs Ayres. It began with cake. Then sausages. Then more cake/brioche....
And I have met Jen in person at last. Hurrah!

Smashed avocado with chilli flakes, poached eggs, mushrooms and toast for breakfast.
Then relocated two doors down to the Biplob for an all-you-can-eat Indian lunch.
With chocolate cake included.

I can't remember if I mentioned this, but last week while in B&M on the eternal Dalek quest I found Opal Fruits. Not Starburst, actual proper Opal Fruits. I bought a bag to show solidarity with nostalgia.

Apparently it's a limited edition thing. There may be something about the bag having the proper Opal Fruit flavours in as opposed to Starburst, where it seems some of the flavours are different, but I can't make sense of the articles I've read about it.
