Walmart has new Star Trek models. There are about a dozen in the $15, $20, $25, and $30 range. It seems they're all pre-painted, and only the $30 ones require glue.
What I remember are $30- Klingon Vor'cha, E-D, and Cardassian Galor. At the $25 is the USS Grissom/Klingon BoP twopack, and the Enterprise/SS Botany Bay twopack (I think. May be $20)
Others I remember are the Defiant, E-A, and E-C
I can find out more info and/or snag some for anyone interested.
I didn't go through them, but they also have some other famous vehicles like the Ecto-1 and KITT. I think this may be part of their current advertizing campaign.

Okay, so the no paint needed thing is a bald faced lie.

Not that there's anything wrong with painting a model. But it's blatant false advertisement. I'd have never gotten this had I known. I just don't have the tools, space, skills or know how to paint models.
It also said molded in colors, that's wrong too. While the BoP is fine, the Oberth is run in just pure white.
And while the sculpted detailing is better, they're both the same size as their fully completed Eaglemoss counterparts.

Hi guys. I may need a 6" TOS (snigger) Captain Kirk figure. Which would you recommend?

I believe McFarlane released a 6" Kirk a little bit ago. There's also a Mego Retro Kirk floating about right now. That's about 6", but doesn't match action figure aesthetics.

McFarlane, cool, thanks, I'll check that out.

Been enjoying episodes of The Toys That Made Us every now and again. Watching the Trek one at the moment. There is some batshit crazy tat hidden in this show's past. That Spock helmet with the light on it is NUTS.

I also love the way this show breaks out with the theme from Terry and June every time they want to make something sound silly.

I now own REAL FENCING ACTION Q.
Yes that is right. A Q figure with an action feature where you press a button on the back TO BEGIN SWORDPLAY. Yes, as everyone remembers how Q was that guy who was always fencing.
'Destination: Star Trek' had dozens of very reasonably priced Playmates figures and I wished to go crazy. However, I had a very limited budget so settled for MUTATED TOM PARIS.
I also now own TNG ACTION MARBLES with the dilemma of whether to take them off the card. The struggle is real.

I on the other hand now own two Dr Soongs! It was not exciting when I realised I already had him.

Yup! There's a long tradition of Hallmark Trek Christmas ornaments/tree decorations in the US. One of them was a Captain Archer. There was also a Trip Tucker one.
