This is a slippery slope to become a doll collector...
IT BEGINS.

It's telling your first thoughts went to lube not the cheery chirpy pop sensations.

I'm really surprised it took them this long to do the dominion battleship.
I'm also (not so) patiently waiting for Eaglemoss to go after The Orville license.

Pretty sure the Dominion ship was done very early on as I remember regretting not getting it. This looks like a slightly modified version of that.

The standard dominion fighter, which was Defiant sized and looks like a firefly, was done early on. This one is the battleship, which is like... the size of a romulan warbird. They weren't shown a lot, but they became a bit more prominent in the last seasons.

No. Not the Jem'hader fight. The battle cruiser was done back in #13. I can tell the difference.

Wow... that's... bad. Thet couldn't show an actual picture? The best they could do is a mock up made with MS Paint?
And for $2k, they couldn't be bothered to throw in paddles?

Ah, I'd been thinking of picking up the main rulebook for that but my lack of a group down here made me hold off. (That and it wasn't in the last big sale so it was still a bit pricey for me). It seems to have been very well received as a system. I know there is an anthology of adventures that got released late last year... hang on... Here we are:- These Are The VoyagesBest place to start - especially for a new group - would be the adventures in the Starter Set though - I believe that they are the "A Star Beyond The Stars" mini-campaign which was part of the original kickstarter campaign. There are a fair few supplements and adventures already out for it - with more to come, Operation(Engineering, Security, Intelligence and S31. I'd personally have put Intel and S31 in the Command sourcebook but fair enough...) and Command have sourcebooks already, so they are not mucking about release-schedulewise. Karl

Yep. 'A Star Beyond the Stars' is in the box. May take it along to the next TF meet and try it out with some folk at the end of the meet if anyone is interested. If it's fun I can see myself vanishing down this rabbit hole quite easily...
I've always wanted to try an RPG.

Sounds like a decent plan. Sad I probably won't be there to give it a go - I'm missing my Falkirk RPG group terribly since the move. :-(
(My university-era group ran in a campaign in the Star Trek universe for about three years, it was a fun universe to play in - and a wonderfully deep toy-box for me as Gamemaster. Some fun characters, slightly off the wall - expatriatee Romulan engineer (and the stoic, bemused Vulcan that the same player replaced him with), stroppy, Meat-loaf-listening Starfleet Medical ensign, civilian-attache who took great delight in reminding folk that "I'm a civilian, doesn't apply to me" to name a few.)
