It was such lovely weather at the weekend. But now it is cloudy.
And happy birthday to the Turnbull, the greatest man that ever lived or ever will live.

Still sunny up here. Had a splendid afternoon out at one of the Edinburgh parks eating food and playing frisbee with friends. I turned out to be quite good. And made friends with a dog.

I was in work today and THAT SONG played on the radio again. This time though I discovered what the song was called and who sung it so I will now share it with you so that you can imagine it being played every single day on the same radio station while you are working.

Happy birthday Andy!
Greetings from Denmark! There's a free-to-use PC in the hotel with all the punctuation marks in funny places. There's an umlaut key. Sëë? Anyway, the parents had a blast at Legoland today but as we've now seen the whole place we're looking further afield for tomorrow. After a frantic afternoon hunting in vain for anything else to do in Billund we've decided to go off to Kolding tomorrow. It's a city about 20 miles from here, or 45 minutes on the bus. knew it was our destiny when I saw those three magic words in the brochure...
"Free crazy golf".

I'm wondering whats the point of locking the other Week 15 thread when the admins keep on going into it, posting a message and then locking it again!

As Martin said - it defeats the object of locking the thread in the first place.
Anyway at work today THAT SONG came on the radio again (although I know the name of the song now I am still going to refer to it as THAT SONG because it is slowly driving me insane). It was also joined by another song that Smooth Radio plays on a daily basis that is also starting to drive me up the wall. Enjoy!

Tailgate, Nightbeat and the Sub-Mariner just all spontaneously jumped off the bookshelf together. They seem fine though. Phew.

I get that happening quite a lot. Once when Classics Skywarp decided to literally fly off the top of my TV he broke one of his tail fins clean off and now he is an injured Transformer.

The only time that has happened to me was when God Fire Convoy took a header straight off my old bookcase and landed on the sofa. Fortunately I was not sitting there at the time, otherwise it would have been pretty painful for all three of us.

Saw an estate agent yesterday who managed to make a seemingly simple house auctioning process confusing. It seemed straight-forward enough until he started enacting an auction, creating bidders out of thin air and then wanting to know how much more his character had paid than intended. I guessed wrong as I couldn't remember who he was supposed to be exactly. Luckily I was supposed to get it wrong as this was a lead in to the mindset of a bidder. I still felt a bit foolish, but decided to let him get his speech out of his system.

Given that Volcanic activity seems to be one of the things that marks the emergence points of Giant Monsters (along with nuclear testing and meteorite impacts) I hope that this doesn't mean that a Northern European equivalent to Godzilla is stirring.... Karl

In other news I got home from work today to discover that I was now an uncle. My sister had her first child this morning and no doubt at some time I'll be dragged along to the hospital to see how both are getting on.

From a professional point of view, you will love all 3 of these stories Ian. They all involve injuries, and one even a near amputation ! I await the Hub Members in question to retell the stories.
