The black Prime isn't bad, but in the end it is a black Optimus Prime toy and we have had somewhat of a glut of those over the years so it doesn't really do a lot for me.

This new version doesn't really have enough blue on him. I associate Ultra Magnus with being predominately blue, the Hasbro version was a decent stab but this feels like it is a little bit flat colourwise, as well as being the wrong hue. And I'm not being facetious here - I genuinely don't associate white with Magnus.

Should have more red though - shoulders, head, lower arms and outside plates on the legs were blue, with most of the chest being red. Really the white on the original Ultra Magnus' humanoid mode is more of a trim colour, in my opinion. Karl |
