Far too many of the B5 cast have left us.

Indeed. How the Star Trek cast survived until the mid ninties before suffering a loss (Mark Lenard) is looking more and more fortunate.
B5's Richard Biggs and Tim Choate died in their 40s for crying out loud!

Damn.
He was great in the first series of Babylon 5, I enjoyed his portrayal of Sinclair and I always wondered how different the show would have been had he continued in the role.

Andy I still can't believe how the network decided he had to go - stupid stuff! Show ended up awesome in any case. Sad to hear of his demise though.

Just learnt the news. Very sad indeed. No age at all. He was one of the best actors/characters on Babylon 5.

It's certainly a sensationalist description, isn't it? I wonder what the book will be like. As far as I'm aware, it's the first B5 autobiography (not counting Walter Koenig's which is presumably more about Star Trek and I don't know if he even covers B5), so hopefully will make for interesting reading.

The cover doesn't exactly scream sci-fi, kinda sensationalist, I've pre-ordered it tho.

"The Sinclair Method"!
Could be a fun read, will wait until I see a review though. Shatner's "Up til now" a couple of years ago could have been awful, but it's one of my all time favourite autobiographies, bought on the strength of being the only positive book review I've ever seen in Private Eye.

What the Claudia Christian book? Sounds like it'll be up there with the Katie Price books of this world.

It sounds so trashy I must read it, and the mention of 'The Sinclair Method' makes me wonder if it's an intended piss-take.

The Sinclair Method is an actual thing. It is a pharmacological approach in alcoholism treatment:- en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinclair_MethodI'm afraid that bit is a coincidence rather than humour. Karl

anyway.....i've got all the B5 series on DVD + the movies & Legend Of The Rangers + Crusade.
whoever's left of the cast....some of which....can be found on Facebook, including Bruce Boxleitner who prob keeps on plugging the Tron cartoon series.

The TV Club's reviews have started up again after a long break with Season 2: www.avclub.com/tvclub/tvshow/babylon-5,355/ Haven't seen either of those episodes since they aired, but surprised how well I remember them. -Jim

I just finished reading Claudia's book. It doesn't feature Babylon 5 that much, but its kinda a lynch-pin in that its the high point of her career, gets her a lot of fans and work afterwards, but dear goodness - it was hard to read, troubled person.
Wouldn't overly recommend it, she does offer some insight into relations with some cast members (she didn't get on with Michael O'Hare it seems) and why she didn't return for the final season (She had agreed to film a movie but could not get a written confirmation they would release her to film it and miss some weeks on B5, apparently verbal agreement was offered, but not written agreement which was an insurance requirement).
