Never nice to have new toys break on you. After I had 2 Animated toys break within a minute of playing with them, I'm done with that line.

I've bought the entire first three waves apart from voyager Bulkhead and deluxe Oil Slick, and have yet to suffer a single breakage. Must just be the luck of the draw.

Blitzwing has some potential for snappage on some flaps. Lockdown pop off legs which are I suppose not actually broken is the only other reoccurring problem I've experienced/heard about.

I think the shocker for me was finding the toy already broken when opened.
I have a picture somewhere to post. The breakage is pretty much the same on each leg.

Sorry for the double-post, but here's a couple of images from my Christmas with Animated Shockwave. Notice how brittle those plastic shins/feet look. It's Cotton Hill as a Transformer

Not surprising. Bad news though (not necessarily because I like those particular repaints, but just in general - hope it isn't a sign of bad things happening over there...)

I suspect it is more a case of them running up against the deadline to get Animated out of the way before the onrushing tide of movie product hits. They are running out of time to get another wave out there and sold through, and they are going to want to clear the decks so that when folk go looking for Transformers toys the movie stuff is right there without anything else to muddy the waters.

I'm sure they will turn up as a store exclusive somewhere. It's a shame though the new BB looked much nicer than the first.

Oh, be assured it will turn up at some point. Making a new mold is REALLY expensive, they'll want to see some financial return.

It'll appear, sure. It just makes good business sense to get Animated (and Universe) off the shelf to clear space for stores to order the movie line.

I'd be less expectant of the repainted Grimlcok turning up, which is a shame as it would go quite nicely with Blazing Lockdown.

On bigbot.com they have an animated checklist that mentions the following toys, but I'm assuming they're not going to mass production, possibly only mentioned at a toy fair or something...
Supreme class Omega Supreme Deluxe Constructicon Scrapper Deluxe Constructicon Mixmaster Deluxe Arcee Perceptor
Anyone got any information on these?
Ta, Stom.

Bigbot aren't known for their accuracy. The only one of those we know exist is Arcee (Hasbro have shown a proto). The others haven't been mentioned as toys at all ever.
Also to come is Soundblaster with Ratbat, Rodimus and Cyclonus. Cyclonus appeared in a listing at least, whilst Rodimus has been officially announced

I'd love to see Omega in toy. Maybe just a convention mini toy.
that might be what they are planning for 30th years of Transformers Botcon 2014 Omega Wars toy set.
Original Omega, Legends style redo, Energon toy & legend style TFA Omega & Movie style Omega.

TFWiki.net says that Blackout was also listed along with Arcee and Rodimus. Nice. Surely we won't see these as Animated toys though given current market conditions/movie coming out?

I would say the only definites are Arcee (as it was featured at US toy fair) and possibly Electrostatic Soundwave. Goldfire Grimlock and the Bumblebee with underwater pack thing were solicited but cancelled. The moulds exist so reasonable to expect them to turn up in some future TF line as filler.
Anything else would be a pleasant surprise.

I really hope we do get some more Animated toys, over the last few weeks I've really gotten into the show. I'd love to see a deluxe Perceptor released, and I think there are a fair few more with potential. From a purely selfish point of view, as I am unlikely to buy anything bigger than a deluxe, I'd like a scaled-down dlx Ultra Magnus vs Shockwave box.

Even if Animated is ending (which would be a shame), I would imagine Arcee and the other new, unreleased moulds will turn up in Universe, which I should think will continue for a decent time yet.

Isn't Universe going on hiatus for a while though, while the Movie line gets the focus and attention.
