Did you know the actress who plays Esther Lane is married to the actor who plays Jack Halford in real life?

I remember reading that somewhere. Went to get some milk today at the local shop because ASDA forgot to include the 4 pinters I ordered yesterday. My local convenience store is pretty convenient to walk to for any top up provisions to say the least . Anyway, my attention was caught by a woman in the next isle from me teaching her young kid to say 'Crap'. It kinda threw me a bit as I was going to pay for my stuff at the counter. Kind of the mirror opposite to me teaching my kid to say stuff RULES, but at least that isn't negative. What's the world coming to? I also applied for a couple of new jobs. I reckon I have a big chance at bagging one of them. ===KEN

Good luck on the job front Ken.
I've recently returned from my day trip to Ironbridge. It wasn't a bad place but not as good as I had hoped it was. Due to the coach company setting the trip on a Sunday virtually all of the museums closed at 5pm which gave us just six or seven hours to go through ten different museums - most of them a coach ride away from some of the others. One area had three museums in but the coach driver who had only picked up one ticket to cover the entire coach party had shown the ticket to one of the museums but not the other two. The result - none of us could go into the other two museums because they had no proof we had already paid for the group ticket. The driver had gone off somewhere else and couldn't be found until it was too late so we had to miss out on those two museums - one of which I was looking forward to looking around. We ended the tour at a small open air museum which was built to resemble a Victorian era village. This was quite good but a bit too small to fully enjoy.
All in all it was a worthy day out that was slightly spoiled by one or two problems.
