When you put a link in that is pretty massive, don't use the link as the text as it monkeys around with it. I've seen it when folks do it with ebay listings.

Yup. Bluestreak, Smokecreen are inevitable... as BotCon 09 exclusives!!
And likely a Powerglide done blue as "Badboy" or whatever that eHobby chap was called.

It might say Silverstreak on the package but when I read it, it says Bluestreak.

I don't dig that Blaster at all. The Cybertron Soundwave toy is specifically designed to be Soundwave and it just does'nt work as Blaster. Cheap! Powerglide... ugh! Heavy Duty... who!? The rest are all great  The lick of paint has brought them to life! ===KEN |

Great pics thanks Phil. Prowl looks freakin' awesome here! Sunstreaker looking excellant also. Love Tank-er I mean Octane's weapon. I'm really liking Onslaught's robot mode (Grimlock kitbash here I come!), but not his vehicle mode. Looks like a tonker truck. Begining to actually dislike Powerglide now, poor choice of character IMO. Blaster- WTF!?!? Please please don't tell me THIS is Classics Blaster! Awefull repaint! Hero's right, this mold was designed as Soundwave and it doesn't work as Blaster on so many levels. If this is the only Classics Blaster we get, I'll be very disapointed. Blaster deserves his own mold. Criminal repainting. Who the hell is Heavy what ever? Repaint Quickmix ain't it? But Prowl, oh Prowl... look at the face scuplt!

I'm having trouble opening the page with Blaster and Heavy Duty. Blaster appears to be a Cybertron Soundwave repaint, yes? What does Heavy Duty look like? (For those who don't know, Heavy Duty is a GI Joe name, previously known as Roadblock. So what it's supposed to be in the Classics line, I have no idea.)
Galvatron's robot mode looks fantastic, tank mode nice enough. Jazz and Oilslick, very interesting, especially Oilslick's vehicle mode. Ratchet's folded-down chest looks a little odd in that picture, but otherwise he seems to be about what I expected from seeing the cartoon designs.

Cybertron Giant Planet Quickmix, personally I think they should have kept the name and done it as a repaint of the double targetmaster.
But I guess another name is considered necessary. Why a new character and a decepticon though.

Tankor's truck mode comes out a lot better than I was expecting in colour. Not sure about the 'slurry spreader' weapon in robot mode, though. Didn't realise Sunstreaker had such a fiddly transformation. It doesn't look '08 Bumblebee level of confusion, but it's still pretty involved. Also, I see LOC Hot Shot is being trotted out again, this time as Ratchet. Completely underwhelmed by Galvatron, though. Tank mode is good but completely generic and robot mode looks like it was designed as a different character then the homage bits (head, front torso, cannon) were slapped on top. Ah well. More for everyone else, I guess! I doubt Hasbro will lose any sleep over my buying almost the full assortment  -Nick I love the Galvatron design, but that should have definitely been either a voyager or ultra. I'll still be getting it. I have to admit that I'm finally starting to be won over by some of the Animated stuff. Jazz and Ratchet in particular are sweet, and Slag is just perfect. I am quite liking the look of the Galvatron design. Not entirely sold on the humanoid mode (a little too "TF:2010"-ish in look for my tastes) but it isn't bad at all, and I may be the only person who quite likes the tank form. I'm liking the very sloped look to the turret and it feels like it has less gubbins than things like Brawl.
Not too fussed about the Cybertron repaints in Universe - I've got the Soundblaster mold already, and the other toy is a decent toy that doesn't do anything for me. Not too surprised to see some repaints getting chucked in there - it is a cost-effective way to bulk out the filler line.
Some of the Animated stuff looks very nice - a fantastic job of translating the design aesthetic into three solid dimension. It remains to be seen how tempted I will be to buy them, but they are a nice piece of work in terms of toy sculpting and the like.

Interesting pics there. Animated Jazz looks fun! As does Soundwave! I hope I start disliking Animated figs again, I don't want to have to buy a load of them!
Universe classics Galvatron looks nice, but small. Hate the Blaster, what a cheat!

Over on Tformers there's some very clear pics of Uni Classics and some Botcon exclusives. Work's PC wont let me link it for some reason. Prowl and Sunstreaker look good. But I'm also liking Knightbeat very much! And Blurr's head is a good job!

Me thinks we need a thread to discuss these exciting toys.
Classics is where it's at for me as a collector and fan. I'm endevouring to form a 'New G1' collection out of G1ick figs from A/E/C and ofcourse Classics.
I'm liking what I've seen of Sunstreaker, I find him an interesting blend of G1 and Alternator, although I know he ain't doing it for some folkes.
Very pleased Prowl is in wave 1. Wasn't expecting that. Eager, as you'd expect, to get my sweaty mits on one of these. Just hope they pull off the right look with him (not like in my nightmere, see Week 5 thread).
I'm puzzled by Ultra Powerglide. Powerglide an Ultra? Doesn't seem to fit with me. Surely he can't be a repaint?! I don't find him an obvious character. Sure he may be marginaly popular, but he's not as well know as your Jazz and Starscreams, so therefore not, maybe, a "Classics". I stand to be convinced otherwise on that though.
I'm correct, aren't I, that Sideswipe, Jazz and Ironhide were confirmed as future releases? But no Ratchet. Which is a shame. And rumoured ultra size Ultra Magnus with armour, and Galvatron? That correct? Or did I make it all up.
There's the 'is Onslaught part of a combining group' question. I wouldn't have expected another Combaticon group as they did them in Energon, kind of. Have they lost the rights to the name Motor Master or something? Predacons would have been eaten alive by fans.
I'm also concerned by the limited number in the range. Doesn't seem many to me. Or is it about right?
