I think we will have room for him in the background somewhere (sadly nothing too prominent).
True, it was Sideswipe's role, but foreshadowing G2 I felt it a nice little touch, I'd actually committed to doing Hot Rod on the page first, before Sideswipe. When I began putting in characters, I was looking for characters that were either Classics/AM's or would be part of that raiding party based on that latter era Furman stuff.

Martin That is Stranglehold, you can see in the space of three panels what happens to him. It's not pleasant, again a little foreshadowing of G2 in terms of a more ruthless approach by the Autobots - but he can be repaired after all his head may be elsewhere... Andy |
