Done today. I've toyed with the idea of adapting the story into comic form. Well here is page 1. Before anyone says anything I know that Prime should be in a form resembling his original body not his Action master form, but I forgot that while I was doing it. Andy

Looking good - I didn't notice the Action Master thing until you pointed out - but it looks like one of your best strips ever. This_needs_colours!

Nice, moody first panel.

The original text story was damn near perfect, but it's action-heavy as well as introspective, so it certainly could lend itself to a strip adaptation.
Mind you, I imagine it would be a fairly hefty page count if you include everything!

Group project or long term solo project. Then again Andy seems to be a drawing machine so maybe not that long.
First panel is really great.
I've still never read the story as its in the only Annual I still don't own. At least I don't think I do. Must have a quick google.

Looking good Andy. Only minor criticism is the grey starfield makes it hard to see Prime in the first pic, so it could do with some colours there to help it stand out.

While true, some colour would jar, you'd need to do the whole thing in colour if you did that! Saying that, my pen is always on offer if you need some colouring done!

I can't wait to see the Bludgeon page later on -i think that could be what Don was aiming for in DW ARmada.

Very impressive Andy. Very Impressive indeed. I actually like the fact that Prime is a dim silhouette in the first panel, it has a sense of the idea of the oppression of the present that Prime fleeing in reverie.

I don't have the patience to do full colour, nor the time to be honest so it would need to be someone else doing that for me. I might lighten the starfield a bit when I redraw that to have it as proper Prime in place. Andy

Cheers. I decided not to try and edit the prose and try the same approach as Boom Studios have done with Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep.

It's a thing of beauty, Andy, and I think you made the right decision re: the prose.
Just one tiddly thing - can you do something with the captions/lettering to distinguish Prime's thoughts from the third-person narrator that it shifts to on page 2?

I look forward to the "TOGETHER!" bit of supreme cheese. Perhaps the only time a T. rex has ever done anything noteworthy with one of its puny upper arms. (Or maybe Andy will visualise the "colossal double blow" differently from the original artist...) Martin

Looking very nice Andy. It is an interesting format and one that I think suits ATAP rather well. Looking forward to seeing future pages.

Martin In my head just now I see Prime swinging a punch and Grimlock using his dinosaur head and raising it up catching Megs in the chest as Prime's fist hits his head but that may change when I get there. Who knows? Andy
