I'm off out tonight for another drink-up but this time its with a few of my workmates. Expect the 'I had too much to drink last night ...' thread to return to the surface tomorrow!

Popped through to Falkirk yesterday. Beat up Karl's printer. Did some interview prep in Falkirk Library and upset an old gentlemen without trying to (I think I must have sat in his favourite seat on the otherwise empty floor). Had a few ales and felt fine until I got on the train when 'the switch' in my head was thrown and I felt terribly silly for a bit. Chap in takeaway must have saw me coming and my chicken pakora had very little chicken in it but an anwful lot of veg. Arglefargle.
Nice long lie. Lazy afternoon walking coming up after I go get something for lunch.

Nice quiet day yesterday which let me recharge my batteries somewhat. Spent most of it relaxing, and in between did two installments of The Daily Straxus and am almost two thirds done on the second page of Another Time and Place. So that should be done tonight/tomorrow.

Dormouse survey this morning. Broke the record for the nature reserve by a mile - thirty dormice found or thereabouts. Lovely. Hopefully have a photo of one in my hands to share later on.

Last night was great and I'm happy to report it didn't end up with me sharing my meal from earlier on with some unsuspecting member of the public! Me and several of my work mates met up at a local Wetherspoons pub where one of them got totally wrecked in there and another one (his brother who also works at the same place as me) wasn't too far off himself. We then all hopped into a taxi to the nearby nightclub district of Loughborough where more drinks and general japery was had at two other trendy youth pubs/nightclubs. We then began to go our separate ways and me and two others went back home at 1.30am.

Went for a walk for a couple of hours this afternoon, avoiding the canal for I was in no mood to deal with the ignorant cyclists. It was actually mild enough that I had a nice ice-cream while out.

Very cute dormouse there.
I have had a nice quiet day today. Went out for a walk along the canal to visit the swans and the ducks this morning, did some cleaning and then some pottering around in the kitchen making things to fill up the freezer. Following that up with a film over dinner has been a nice restful way to finish up the weekend.

Awww. That Dormouse RULES.
I just made one of these out of curiosity today. Absolutley dangerous! Not that I'm into guns and stuff, it was interesting that a simple domestic item could be turned into a deadly weapon.
