The local Asdaland has had the ESB wave for a few months. I wonder why ID are being shorted on their order. -Ralph It doesn't make any sense. I've been to Asda a few times but have yet to find a full set of six there, there seems to be a glut of Han/Leia/Lando in mine. I don't want to start buying those and end up missing a figure, so I'm sticking to the vague hope that ID actually get their delivery. I'm not holding out too much hope though as it keeps getting pushed back. |

So Retro now isn't Retro. Sigh. -Ralph That was my initial reaction. I think it has moved the goalposts a bit, but it's also quite nice to see new characters done in an old style. Just so long as we get more of the older figures in wave four. No problem with doing new characters in an old style but it should be in its own line. Retro is for close reissues of old figures. That's a different thing. But then as we see with TF, Hasbro are pretty inept at havibg cohesive lines at the moment! -Ralph |

Don't have a problem with the retro line myself, but given the prices are almost on a parity with the "main" figure lines it's not that interesting to me. If I could pick these up for half the price of the more detailed figures I'd think about it, but as it is...

I like the look of the retro Mandalorian figures, but don't think I'll be going in for them. They do have one up on the Black Series line though with The Child's floating pram!

Don't enable them! Monopoly sets should not be £50! They are usually £20-30. Even if you chuck in one of these figures it shouldn't be above £40.

For some reason ID ended up getting their allocation in three batches, the first was July as planned, the second in October I think it was, the third now. The Mando wave is due in a month or two!

Very happy to finally have these six. Particularly Han in Hoth Gear because for some reason he is the figure I most remember from my childhood. There seemed to be an indication through all those Fan Friday things last year that this range is doing well, so I think what I would like to see after the Mando wave is the other six of the original 12 and a vehicle of some sort. It would be great to have the droids, Ben, the jawa, Tusken and the Death Squad commander.
