I see what they're doing but it's a weird logic - a Lucasfilm line should be all the films they've done, but obviously there are no easily reusable figures for anything else. It's a standalone collectors thing I suppose like the Mando Credits line. Those figures won't work with the other black series ones. That Jawa would stand out too much with the others that don't have the cloth cape, and although that Ben has a better face deco through the new paint technology, being Kenner colours he wouldn't be right with the others either. I wonder if he'd head swap.

Importing ourselves? Sounds like they've bulk bought from Amazon using a business account.
I can't help but note that these are three of the original SW figures that haven't been done yet in the Retro line. I think I"m going to avoid these in the hope the next retro wave is a 50th set that does the same figures in their original forms. These ones will just look too weird with the other Black Series figures.
Tempted by Greedo though as I don't have the first BS release.
It's weird that I'm temporarily at a computer while these are there to buy on ID. I usually only see this hours after they've sold out.

I find myself unmoved. I realised recently (while playing about with some GI Joe Classified) that when it comes to action figures (MOTU excepted) my heart just lies more with 3 and 3/4 inches rather than 6.

I *may* have preordered a Greedo.
You know, cos it's Amazon so I can cancel at any time.
Aaaaany time.

Not bothered about the Mando wave. Would rather have proper 3 and 3 quarter Mando figures. I shall pay attention to Retro again if there is a ROTJ wave. -Ralph And yet I now find myself pondering the Mando wave. -Ralph

Nah. I've managed to kill my desire there. I'm in for any recreations of the original Kenner line, but Mando figures would get a twenty second glance then get shoved in a box. Besides, if you're going complete there you need to get that fifty quid monopoly set to get the eighth figure, which is just a dirty version of the Stormtrooper.

It'd be around £120 for a novelty. I sense huge buyer's remorse with those.

I expect Mando and the Child will be rare when they hit Asda, but if I see an IG-11 in the wild I might get one as an opener.

Oh I reckon that wave will not be on shelves for long. The Mandalorian is popular and none of the other Mando figures have been in supermarkets.

Nah. You're not getting me with that. An opener as a desk toy is not the same as needing an entire MISB wave. The fact the previous figures have been original trilogy based is enough to separate them.

I predict when you crack is when wave 4 of Retro comes out and it's ROTJ. You buy them all. Then you realise you have three waves of four. The odds increase for you cracking and getting wave 3 if the line stops at wave 4.

Even if they keep to a wave a year, next Spring seems a bit early for that. Surely they'll want to do it in line with the anniversary. They've realised there's a market here. I think wave four will be a half and half mix of Star Wars and Empire but what I'd really want is the other half of the original 12.

Does seem sensible. I suppose we did get a quick burst of ROTJ figures in the Black Series just after the Empire stuff.
