Oooohhhhh the original 12 is a potent thing indeed! Their picture is in the underside of the base of my cardboard Death Star!
84 quid though...? Yikes.

That's ID's import price. This is a pulse exclusive that hasn't gone up for order yet. It may be a fiver less from them when it does. It's a box set like the recent reissue of the first six.

I mean, I know there's inflation and all, but still, I remember when I saved up three weeks' worth of pocket money to buy a Luke Skywalker figure when Return of the Jedi came out - he was £1.69 in Woolworth's. That would make six figures about tenner. I mean, them costing eight times that much is pretty much in line with the rate of other things increasing in cost. But it really is a shock to think about it like that...

And lo, did Llama enter the world of 'it wasn't like this in my day'.
Welcome, brother.

Saw them in Smyths. They look fantastic but the price was too high for what they are. I await a sale. -Ralph

They do look good but I'm not going in to get another line. I'm struggling to fund everything as it is.

Impromptu trip to A1 on Saturday, Dark Empire Luke, Leia, Imperial Sentinel and Palpatine picked up. All sealed on card.
There was a Xizor but I left that for Llama.

No, Power of the Force. They had a whole wall of it! It was mad - like we'd just walked into the '90s. Looked like they'd acquired someone's collection - they were all in very good nick, and all sealed on card.
I was certainly glad that Andy was there to take the fall on those figures, else I would've been very tempted. Xizor stayed on the pegs, alas - but if I don't overspend and he's still there when I get back from Singapore I might have to grab him.

Don't usually frequent a Morrisons but was in one briefly this evening and was very surprised to see the Micro Galaxy sets and the Obi-Wan Retro 3.75 figures.

It was a fine sight. Sadly Thrawn and Mara Jade had already been bought.

Retro Jedi wave pre-ordered. Hopefully that'll stick to being next year.
In doing so I realised I competing forgot about that second boxed set of the other six figures from the original twelve but that doesnt seem to have gone up for pre-order yet.

What's your point, caller? -Ralph When I got Kickback from Amazon he was £19.99. I had to get to £20.00 for free postage. Looking, looking, nothing I wanted. Nearly bought a pack of Blutak. Then I saw Vintage Collection Lobot for £4.99! If you think about it, Lobot is the true hero of Star Wars.

I'm hoping to punt some of mine to them! Jonathan

I liked Lobot as a child, but I never owned the figure. Very traumatic.
