Yes! Sunday 10am, work had better not dare ask me to come in.

Last Sunday was the first time I had seen Muppet Christmas Carol on the big-screen. It was well worth dragging myself from the house to catch the 10am showing. What saddened me was how small the audience was.
Great experience on the big screen though - even though it meant I couldn't join in with the songs.

Struggled to stay awake as I had been at work at 5am. But wonderful to see on the big screen again.

Never seen it but it must have been on recently because the missus has recorded it on the sky box. So I daresay I'll have seen it before long...

It's a classic. I've probably watched it 2 or 3 times since the start of December. It's not my favourite Christmas movie but it's not far off.

Christmas doesn't finish in my house until new years eve and this film will be the last one we watch for this year, tomorrow probably. Tonight we're watching Home Alone 3, which has caused me the last 45 minutes to rack my brains trying to work out who the daughter is. IMDB tells me it's a 13 year old Scarlett Johansson!
Didn't recognize her but I did immediately recognise one of the villains as being from the Red Dwarf episode Back to Reality. I know my priorities.

Yep, the officer Kryten kills in the car park after they leave the VR Suite.

Wait, what? Since when was Michael Caine a Muppet? This puts a whole new perspective on the Italian Job.

Statler and Waldorf are actually how I visualize any meeting between Turn and Burn going.

Statler and Waldorf are actually how I visualize any meeting between Turn and Burn going. They are my default Marley brothers and it confuses me when the original story just has one Marley. "We're Marley and Marley! Woooooooo!"

Is there a Fraggle Rock version of this? Yes but it 100% revolves around radishes.

You could have a good Christmas on radishes.
Why do muppets live in human size houses? And the implications of the frog and the pig having children doesn't bear thinking about.

They're singing again. I do wish they wouldn't do that.

Best christmas soundtrack ever.
The soundtrack has two bonus songs on it. A beaker and thingy one and sam the eagle has one too.
If you are watching the extended vhs/tvbroadcast version with when love is gone you also get to see possibly thw best bit of acting Micheal Caine has ever done. Its stunning when he breaks down at the end of the song.
And yet disney refuse to release that version on bluray, or even widescren dvd.
Imbeciles.
