The Tom face sculpts just seem to get worse and worse.
Also not sure how Dalek sets 16 and 17 are in the same box. I get they're from different stories, but surely a set is a set.

Also, although we've heard there will be a Resurrection set next year, there's no set number reserved for it in the sequence. Last time they mixed the order up to keep variety on the shelves, the set numbers kept to story order.

Yes, that's not a great face sculpt on that Baker. But on the other hand, I imagine people will need to buy this set multiple times, so they can have a whole gallery of Time Lords...

No Spandrell = no sale.
(Not that I'm likely to see these anyway).

They may well appear up here. I will be keeping my eyes open, since I've had a pretty good success rate this time around...

Thanks to the magnificent Llama and his B&M cycling tours, I now have the first wave of Who figures for this year. I have an actual Richard Hurndall action figure. What a world to live in.
Very good paint jobs. The Colin with the TARDIS has the best face I've seen on the sculpt. It actually looks like him.
Hurrah for Llama!

Nope. Nor me. Round here it's all still £7.99 10th Doctor sets from last year in all three B&Ms that actually have the toys anyway. But then they never get Dalek sets and very rarely the TARDIS ones. I am hopeful as the three packs shelf warm after the initial scalper rush that the Timelord set might hang around long enough to get one when it comes out. Llama seems to have magical Scottish B&Ms that have wondrous bounty for all. Perhaps Scotlandland is scalper free.
So chuffed all my classic Doctors now have an era specific TARDIS, two in some cases. In fact Tom has three. The only Character TARDIS I don't have is Capaldi's, which was a bit of a mistake because no one else bought that one and they're now a million pounds on the after market.

Small moment of joy earlier. I did the usual B&M check and found the year old three packs still sat on the shelf, but then turned into the next aisle and there was the Deadly Assassin set! I haven't felt that new toy discovery thrill for a long time. There were loads of them, and the new series Dalek History pack, but no Remembrance sets. Seems the scalpers are getting picky.

Yes, never go out of your way on my account. Your help has been amazing, but don't feel obliged to. I'm still missing the Remembrance set (ironically, given the day), but as this wave seems to have turned up round here I'll keep an eye out for a bit.

Ah, not obliged - it's always fun to go on the hunt. Even if it's not for myself. Also helps me to scratch the itch that seeing these figures gives me - but I am *not* starting down another path. ;-) I'll keep my eyes open for the Remembrance set though.

Dalek History 15. Just the black dalek from that story and a grey drone. Must be a second set coming with the imperials.
Picture is higher up this page.

Is he equipped with a buttonhole camera to take SECRET PHOTOGRAPHS?
My local B&M threw me a curveball last night. Last week they had a dozen Timelord/New series Dalek sets. This week they had all gone and were replaced with Dalek History 13 & 14 - and they were discounted to £15! Brand new in the shop, like gold dust and discounted! I've never seen Dalek sets in this store before this last fortnight. Maybe next week I'll get lucky and find the Remembrance sets going for tuppence.

I would say that given the speed that they tend to react to stories that that'll be in a couple of years' time. But given they got the 13/Master set out pretty soon after Power of the Doctor it's anyone's guess. I wonder if they'll do a bigger push with toys when Gatwa's series starts up properly on Disney+..?

You'd hope so, they do seem to be hostage to whatever stockists (basically B&M) want to take them on but I believe in the magic of RTD Was the Fugitive Doctor a completely new sculpt?

"Dear fans of Doctor Who and customers of Character Options,

We’d like to apologise for any inconvenience but want to reassure you that there is plenty of stock and we are working to try and resolve the issues.
Unfortunately this is beyond our control and we did think this was resolved ahead of the release, however the volume of traffic has created further problems.
Thank you for your patience and ongoing loyalty."
