Not entirely surprising given how heavily clearanced the line was at launch.
Also the quality of them is not great. My wee Megatron minifig has a fine crack right up his back, despite being well looked after, and more than a few of my other minifigs have stress marks on them.
A missed opportunity by Hasbro, but most definitely a poor second when you compare it to Lego's licensed stuff.

Kre-o held no appeal for me, but I know it had its fans particularly on TMUK and I'm sorry to see it on the way out. The line had potential that it never really lived up to. Plus now we almost certainly won't get MLP Kre-o  -Nick |

I wanted to like Kreo, but when I tried out the line every figure I picked up had stress marks or cracks out of the package. Bad enough for any toy, but poor for a construction toy line. I also found the plastic quality and tampo printing to be poor quality*. A real shame. Great potential and some nice colour schemes and ideas. They are also quite popular with many folk so I can understand if there is some annoyance.

It's a shame. The line should have concentrated on the minifigs and sets for them, rather than the 'have your cake and eat it' approach of big and small ones. The quality was awful too, sadly |

The minifigure designs were quite good, but quality of the plastic was shocking. tolerances weren't right so many arms cracked when fitted with hands or other appendages, it wasn't funny.
I also think there should have been more crossover. if the human Kreos had looked more like character building Who minifigures they could have been sold alongside most deluxe and voyager transformers. Prime, Movie and Genrations/G1/IDW all have human characters that would have looked great in that scale and I'm sure it would have encouraged kids to use their Kreo to build playsets.

I can grab any combiner sets anyone may want.
I'll tell you several things that doesnt help kreo.
Walmart doesnt carry any kreo line except cityville. Leaving pretty much only target and toys r us. And at least locally, those two segregate Kreo away from lego, and the other better known build lines.
At the local target, kreo is in the girl isle, across from mlp, and little petshop.
On the flipside, character builder now has a stateside presence, though only with scooby doo (blegh)

Done with Kreo now, the amount of cracks and stress marks developing on my minifigs has pissed me off no end. Love the aesthetic but you can fuck off I am not giving money for toys that self destruct.

So much of the kreo lines are disappointing. Which is a shame given how much sheer potential kreo as a brand has.

Yeah - the quality of the Kreo's my only reservation with these. But those Battle Changers do look like a lot of fun. And I'm not sure I'm going to be able to resist those weird custom minifigs - Cowboy Prime? How can I say "no"?
