Movie Legends figures are now in Tesco in Falkirk. The stock appears to consist of mass ranks of Prime, backed up with smaller numbers of Movie Springer.

I popped up to Cardiff Toys R Us on Saturday to see the display. I don't want to spoil the surprise of what it looks like: The display has Optimus and Megatron on either side. Bumblebee and Starscream are between, punching each other with fantastically kitsch moving arms. In stock were: Legends Scout Deluxe Voyager Leader Whirl and Bludgeon set (Evac and Wreckage repaints) Superion Fast Action Battlers Robot Replicas Robot Heroes Bumblebee helmet Optimus Prime helmet (I didn't know this was being re-released - it's got nice, textured metallic paint on the silver parts and new speech.) Bumblebee blaster Optimus and Bumblebee costumes Optimus bubble bath I think that's it. Sorry, I don't know which characters were there, as I was trying not to look. (Spoileritis.)

This little guy is now all mine. Posted the pic here because he's not out yet and reffered to him as 'The Doctor' on the Acquisitions thread. The pic is a take on Scalpel's profile description. I can post scans of the card on request. ===KEN

I have a feeling he does...
On the downside, I've noticed these smaller figures don't have instructions. Whilst it is fun to figure it out and use the box illustration for alt=mode refference it could prove frustrating for kiddies. Also Scalpel's spider legs are very fragile and I am talking more fragile than Detour/Dead-End's arms. This is indeed bad. I can predict a few sobbing kids for this line.
Scalpel's alt-mode is pretty decent! Almost as posable as the Pixar desklamp.

John Lewis in Glasgow has a nice big display of Fallen Dave toys. Looking at the Superion giftset, the main robot looks properly assembled to me. Maybe the chap who bought one with the legs the wrong way round got a bad batch. The paint jobs on the planes look quite good.
The voice chip for Power Bots Megatron is amazing. STOMP STOMP CRASH MEEEEEEEGATRONNNNNNN BANG BANG STOMP!
Like Sainsburys, Lewis' also has some ROTF price madness: £5.95 for Legends figures!

It is arguable if the legs are assembled improperly. The middle guy has been the same every time he's released. Basicalyl one way round you get full motion, the other way round (IIRC) it locks stiffly at various intervals. I mean, it probably is the wrong way round, but Superion is a fantastic set of figures.

Or alternatively that you were never intended to have a full range of motion. I'm not so sure if this is actually an error as such, or just an artefact of the way it is designed. I can see how the "fix" might increase the range of motion of the legs, but having owned the original version a while back I'm not so sure that it is so much a "fix" for something that is broken as a modification that gives it a capability that wasn't designed in. They could at least give away set of dx's
Does anyone have a list of all 28 RPM toys - they do look good if they are priced at normal car price 99p - or maybe £1.50
above link page 12 - bumblebee, Optimus, Jazz, Brawl
& if hotwheels size to mix in with other toy lines & also with item on p13.

I saw ROTF Ramjet today in ASDA, Longwell Green. In fact that was the only ROTF toy there.

I checked out the TRU feature wall today. It's hypnotic the way cardboard Bumblebee and cardboard Starscream mince at each other with their jerkily moving arms.
The paintjobs on the Whirl/Bludgeon 2-pack have been done by a blind monkey. Looks really bad - paint chipping on every Whirl. Well, there's some cash saved!
Disappointing lack of good tat though. Where are my mugs and hats, damn it.

I was all excited about spotting Ramjet and Skywarp (nyah, you didn't see that one) in Asda this morning. They were priced up at £25 £20. There were four Ramjets and one Skywarp out, with space for two more, which makes me curious about the case composition. (Sadly, I couldn't afford to pick any up today, nor the half-price Animated Bumper Battlers.) I hope this is a good sign for Walmart exclusives in general. It's strange that Asda are so slow in getting ROTF to the shelves. The only other things on the shelves was a Legends dump bin, but that was filled with Universe Legends.

Jesus, how much?
They might as well have just released some remolded Spychangers for that price. They had racing axles and at least transformed!

In other news, Sainsburys Drumchapel have the following Legends: new moulds: Prime, Megatron, Sideswipe, Bumblebee. Repaints: Ratchet, Starscream. £3, cheaper than TRU (£4.21 IIRC).
Prime and Megatron are now battling for supremacy beside my computer.
Does anyone know if there is a Legends version of The Fallen?

Sainsbury have a nice cardboard display stand out.
Does Ravage connect to the underside of the Blue bigger Soundwave toy?
