Now I am a man who loves his trades, as witnessed by my frequent contributions to the Collected Editions thread.
But I also love my bargains, as witnessed by the creation of the cheap trades thread.
It turns out that the second trumps the first where digital collections are concerned. In fact it appears I have paid full price for just TWO digital trades:
Judge Dredd: The Complete Case Files 07 Judge Dredd: The Complete PJ Maybe
All the rest have been bought in various 2000ad and Comixology sales.
So....
How many digital trades have you paid full price for?

None, as digital trades are often the same price as physical trades and at full price I feel I get better value for money with the physical book. In fact I rarely buy digital comics in general outside of sales. So bought a fair few digital trade but only when they are going cheap. Generally if a comic/trade costs a fiver or more at full price digitally that's the deal breaker for me.

It's the same as me. I've bought a f*** ton of digital trades, all bar the above, through sales.

I accidentally bought a pair of digital GI:JOE trades at full price, but that was by accident. Karl has since learned not to try to make the checkout process on Comixology go whilst having a mild anxiety attack. It is not an efficient approach... Other than that I tend to buy digital trades the same way as I buy physical ones - I buy them when I can source them cheap (actually, that is pretty much my approach to buying most books. I rarely get things that aren't in 3-for-2's, or secondhand.)

Same as Ralph. I like kickin' it old school. The only digital books I've ever bought have been the TF collections linked cheap on here, and that was purely to have the art in a digital form in case I wanted to do anything with it. I buy paper books.
Mind you that said, having set up the comixology account to get Classics Vol 8, I have since been buying Howard the Duck, Rocket & Groot for the missus because she went nuts for Guardians of the Galaxy and likes reading on her ipad. I hate reading off screens though so I haven't even looked at them.

Almost all the digital trades I have were bought cheap in the various sales, aside from a couple on the 2000ad app which I paid full price for.

My comics reading is a random collage of UK newsstand reprints, trades from the library and occasional digital comic/trades when they're on sale. It's a hodgepodge of reading formats but it's the most economical way for me to read comics these due to a shrinking disposable income. I very rarely buy physical single issue US comics any more for that reason.

Read loads via newsstand titles and library loans so doesn't leave time/cash for digital.

I have signed up to Marvel Unlimited just to try it out. It seems to work well but is very overwhelming! What stuff should I read??

Sadly there are no issues of Force Works or the proper Fantastic Force.
Delete the app. It's not worth it.

Okay I am finding Marvel Unlimited really good. Well worth it, as long as you don't care about being up to date with current stuff!
I have been reading Daredevil. I started with the Bendis and Brubaker stuff which I remember reading back in the day and enjoying. I even liked the Mr Fear arc, which is what got me off the book originally as it seemed to go on sodding forever and I hate magic mind control stories.
Then the Andy Diggle stuff which might have been interesting but EEEH the whole point was that it led into Shadowland which was also a MIND CONTROL story and a wretched crossover. How the hell they justified 30 issues worth of crossover I will never know, as most of the crossover miniseries had nothing to do with the main event, as there was no room in that event to actually put them (seriously, the entire story is that Daredevil is possessed by the devil and has a house of ninjas, a group of heroes go up to him, they have a fight, go REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE and Daredevil is okay, the end. That's it.)
Yes Andy, I have now gone back to the Frank Miller stuff which I haven't read before.

Okay, I really enjoyed Frank Miller's Daredevil run.
What else is 'must read' from Marvel and on Marvel Unlimited that I should check out? (I assume 'all of it' but c'mon true believers!)

Here's a few to be getting on with
Uncanny X-Men Giant Size 1, 94-280.
Age of Apocalypse
Avengers 227–288, Annuals 13–14, The Roger Stern run. Read Amazing Spider-Man annual 16 first.
Come to think of it Stern's whole Amazing Spider Man run too, 224–252, Annuals 15-17. Ann 15 is superb, one of my fave comics.
Alpha Flight 1-28 (John Byrne)
Fantastic Four 232-296 (John Byrne)
Fantastic Four 334–354 (Simonson again, Death's Head appears)
New X-Men 114-154 (Grant Morrison)
The Immortal Iron Fist 1-27 (Matt Fraction)
Hawkeye 1-22 (Matt Fraction)
Planet Hulk Incredible Hulk 92-105
Bill Mantlo Hulk 245-313
New X-Men (Kyle/Yost) 20-46 + crossovers
X-Force (Kyle/Yost) 1-26 + crossovers

Working my way through the Simonson Thor run. Just got to frog Thor! This stuff is fantastic, which is even more depressing that this is the run that Thor 2 was inspired by and that film was so bland and forgettable!
