Put this in the wrong thread didn't I, though it is pretty mad.
Yes the £70 and £30 ones. Yes for £8.99.
Just thinking and if I can sell a few of them somewhere between what I paid and the retail price to cover the cost the rest could go towards toyfus fund raising. Thats assuming its not nationwide reduction.

The local Wilko used to have just a small toy range; today's recce revealed they now have none at all.

I bet they regret putting a toy department in that particular store! Astonishing work, Andy!

A certain comic book series picked up traction with fans when the trade came out. Overlord is now popular.

See what it says towards the bottom of the description? "I was Head of Boys Toys R&D for Hasbro Europe and this was my sample" Now have a look at his feedback history and what he's sold.

I remembered that he'd appeared before after a bit of googling. He's now MD of Toy Design Matters. Page 4 of the website's Boys Toys gallery will interest people here. www.toydesignmatters.com/

Crikey. I just picked one up, and am now sorely tempted by a piece of that action. I mean, it's not like they're not going to get a wider release, and soon, is it? Must ... resist ... scalper ... urges ... Prime Soundwaves generally going around the £70 mark, too: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230734360606

Er, these are main line toys being sold through a large nationwide store. These are not limited edition online things. Who are the idiots paying such stupid money? JUST GO TO ARGOS!

There are always some whose anticipation overrides common sense. These things are going to be everywhere if folk wait, but for some people the important thing is to have them before other folks - the victory is in getting it before others rather than simply having it.
Can't say I think that way myself mind you.

The Megatron market appears to be flooded right now, but apparently Argos and nowhere else will restock till March so I may wait a week and try selling Megatron then.
As mentioned elsewhere the Soundwaves are the crazy money item. I think because they were shortpacked.

This Megatron amused me. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140687808254?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649&autorefresh=true&autorefresh=trueI noticed it at about £10 with half hour to go, so I thought I'd have a go for it myself. Then I realised it was that price because the seller was cancelling the bids, stating "item damaged and no longer available." It had been at £30 and I can't help thinking that the seller actually cancelled the bids because it hadn't gone as high as other Megatrons over the last few days. If that's the case, it serves him right for being dishonest as new bids were placed afterwards and it sold for £26, less than the cancelled high bid. Of course, if it was genuinely damaged, then I hope it's all resolved amicably between the parties.

I've seen some Triggerbots at ludicrous prices today but this one is the current record holder.Have I missed something? Did the Triggerbots develop unprecedented star-power while I was abroad? -Nick

Well it doesn't have any bids on it!
I had two Sparkstalkers a while back. One sold for £1 after several rounds on the ebay wheel. One sold for £26!!!

Whaaa? The other late 80s minibots (trigger-chaps and spark-chaps) seem to be starting at around £25 now. It seems your Sparkstalker set an abominable precedent! I hope you're pleased with yourself!

They ain't. The only actual sales of loose ones are at sane prices.
