Out of curiosity, does anyone have the Universe 2.0 Roadbuster? I had no idea he even existed until a couple of days ago...

Those sets are both fantastic, I was lucky that my parents were in the US when they came out and didn't mind using almost a full suitcase to bring them back. Boxes are bloody huge. The only part that doesn't work so well on the four of them is Roadbusters head. Which is a shame. Even so its been a fine Roadbuster until recently, now it looks a little small compared to his newly released Wrecker buddies.

Used to have him - had three versions of that mould at one stage but Roadbuster and Exigeyser went to Toy-Fu a while back. It is a nice solid toy, and it doesn't make for a bad Roadbuster at all. He is suitably square and chunky, and has a nice array of built-in firepower. Karl

Thank goodness there's a Voyager Roadbuster in the works then ! The upcoming Roadbuster is voyager, is he? I'm officialy interested. Anyone seen any pics of him? Voyager Whirl. Voyager Roadbuster. Those fantastic 3P Jumpstarters.... Someone do a Rack'n'Ruin already! I'm thinking Wreckers, I'm thinking Wreckers.... This is Sifu's fault. Mrs Shockers will not be happy with him.

Not sure whether to feel guilty or proud... Cheers for the feedback guys on the Universe Roadbuster. He looked great so it's good to know he also has the substance. I see the FansProject effort has got a bid...

Any of the three Cybertron Defence Toys, or their repaints, are worth a buy

Its even more redundant that the roadbuster is about to become, but im a big fan of the botcon springer version, hotshots head works perfectly.

That is the one version of the Exigeyser mould that I kept. I really do like the colour scheme on that version a lot.

An RG1 #99 with the Senior RI cover went for £35 this morning! Good grief... have they got rarer?
I had been collecting those issues and was just missing #0, #98 and #99 but if that's the going rate now I'm out of that game!

$6000 currently. What's the record for the highest price Transformer ever, and what was it? $15k for an AFA graded US Piranacon giftset according to a thread on tfw2005. G2 Stunticons are at $8k now, I can see it hitting $15k, if not more. Really? do AFA grades seriously add that much? there's one on ebay now with a dented box corner going for $1000. Wow. That doesn't strike me as being anything really special. I'd have expected it to be something Japanese, like Black Zarak, but it does seem that the most expensive figures come from the Masterforce/Victory era. Interesting.

I wouldn't trust an AFA graded Black Zarak. That box has no windows, you could have just bought a box full of dust due to all the GPS!

I can see this hitting 15k easily, maybe 20k depending on how deep people's pockets are. This is really one of those once in a lifetime things so I can imagine collectors will be going all-out.

It's amazing to think there are people in this hobby dedicated and wealthy enough to outlay ten grand on a toy. What must their collections look like... I bet they have research labs looking into how to reverse GPS.
So if you'd paid that much for this what would you do? Keep the bags sealed? Get a custom made airtight cabinet built and combine the figures?

Take them to Botcon and set them of fire. Laugh manically as all the fans boys cry.
