I love that G2 Annual. It has such a wonderful level of awfulness that it transcends crap and becomes something wonderful. I still harbour dark thoughts of making an audio version of it.

They're baaaaaaaaack...The G2 Stunticons, near complete, only missing combined mode face, up for auction and likely to sell for the price of an actual sports car. -Nick

Frak a duck. These G2 Stunticons... Who? Who buys this stuff? Who does it? How do they do it? How can they afford it or justify it?

What's weird is that this is the person who bought them last year reselling them. That is one hell of a disposable income to be messing about with.

I think hes selling them because the purchase turned into a huge fight with the seller which soured the buy.
The seller described them as the finest example that would ever be made available. Obviously this is the sort of hyperbole you expect from some sellers. Except the set didnt include Menasors head which wasn't made obvious to begin within and more importantly the seller did have a better set, one that included the head which he also planned to sell.
For me the buyer should have felt ripped off. He was effectively used to set the price for the really good set.

Oh wow, right. I didn't know that. That's pretty rubbish behaviour all round.

If I was actually trying to sell it I'd be annoyed my own cleverness had messed up the bidding.

Is that real? Like... people are bidding that much?

When you get eBay auctions with that kind of exposure people bid for laughs. It's a kind of acknowledgement of the comedy value of the listing I guess. Must be a pain to unpick afterwards though. Be better to pull the listing.

Closed my ebay account last week after a particularly nasty experience with ebay customer disservice. Bought this item from that seller. It arrived missing numerous pieces including the cockpit to the small jet, which rendered the set useless. Seller offered a fraction of the cost as a refund. When I refused they asked for it to be sent back knowing that the cost of sending something back to China via courier was well more than the item was worth, and kept delaying and delaying replying to messages until the time limit expired. Returned said item with proof of postage. Seller denied receiving it, ebay sided with the seller.

Hmmmm. I'm not sure that can be a factory sealed case. Optimus Minor shipped in a case with Sonar and Scarem. I don't think there was ever solid case of Optimus Minors. The case number in the photo matches the US Basic Transmetals Assortment 1 (#80415.0000) which was 4 of each www.fredsworkshop.com/cases.htmlUnless of course he was recalled and sent to discount stores like that as per the Toy Stack Clawjaws and Cybersharks..... That and he case has evidentally been opened from that photo!
