Since I normally fare quite well with the larger/more expensive figures I'll take this one.

Found a Bugly! Down to the final few western releases to get now, getting excited for this! Bugly was the last Western Decepticon I needed to complete that goal. (Splashdown being the last Autobot and toy overall).

Very sunny in Mexico then.
I have yet to add Jumpstarters to my collection. I've not yet come across a pair that still spring and have their guns.

Wow, have you got a complete G1 set, Matt? Yes, well - all the western (US/UK) ones. All loose, mostly played with but loved. (I don't have every single colour variation of the Mini-Spies though).

One day, I will stand them all together in a crowd and take one photo of them all.
Then we can play Where's Wheelie? with it.

As a "reward" for not killing anyone during my morning shop (did you know that coronavirus can't travel sideways? Neither did I) I picked up Cyberverse Scout Shadow Striker from B&M (which I'd gone into for essentials). She's... crap, really. I was expecting a little better, since despite her head poking out she seems to at least form a car that's capable of rolling... except it doesn't very well - it's a pain to line up all the limbs to allow for enough clearance to get the thing to roll. So despite knowing it was going to be a half-former prioritising action features over alt-mode, it's neverthless disappointing.

Well...
After owning siege ultra magnus for a while I decided I needed a nemesis prime and optimus prime.
So I now own a seige nemesis, excellent figure. Aaaaaaaaand earthrise optimus prime. Wow. What a transformer! What a lovely figure. He has quickly become possibly my favourite tf I own, which is truly shameful as I am a dyed in the wool decepticon fan. I have brought shame apon my decepticon bretheran, but what a fantastic piece! Don't get the metallic hands though...
Oh. And I picked up tr sixshot. Isn't he just a goofy lump of blocky plastic. Spectacularly transforms into 4 versions of a prone robot with bits on, the wolf mode is hilarious, but his robot mode is OK. He really does hammer home the fact that I really don't appreciate leader class toys... Except the new leaders, I for one am fine with the smaller scale.

Blackjack and Hyperdrive - definitely a case of early model WFC Micromasters with their popping-off limbs, but they look amazing.
Ironworks - a lot of fun finding base configurations for this! If I ever see it at a good discount it will be hard to resist getting a few more. Connecting it to Omega Supreme just highlights how huge Omega is though
Soundwave Spy Patrol 3rd Unit - my first Siege cassettes, and they're nice little toys, though the Frenzy mould is a bit boxy and primitive-looking. Siege Soundwave now has his One True G1 Partner in Wing-Thing! Oh, and the packaging is beautiful.

Cyberverse Deluxe Bumblebee. I wasn't keen on it at first having become used to Generations deluxe. It has grown on me though. Decent enough for what it is.

They are nice, those two. Sludge and Snarl feel too small next to them, but that first trio of Grimlock, Slag and Swoop look really good.

Thanks to a gift card I received for my birthday I got Earthrise Optimus Prime yesterday. And I’m glad I didn’t pay for it myself.
The most disappointing aspect is, of course, the trailer - flimsy plastic and it really doesn’t do very much. I mostly wanted it for the detachable diagnostic drone thing, but that’s not quite as posable as I was expecting it to be either. I’m glad I have it, but I was hoping for more.
Prime himself is a good enough figure. He’s just not particularly interesting. I stand by my previous assessment that Studio Series Bumblebee Prime is a better update, PottoP Prime is more fun because of his gimmicks (even if he’s not in scale) and Star Convoy’s smaller robot has a much better head sculpt. So... fine. And useful if I need a posable, in-scale Prime. But otherwise, disappointing.
