He is too big to scale with the rest of my Generations Mini-bots! A scant few millimeters... Hasbro Brawn looks a bit slender next to him. The 3P offerings fair a little better. That's a.... disaster.... A NIGHTMARE! (Although a Brawn would work a snatch bigger...) ............... But again. Again and Again and Again. It's starts again. It drives me crazy! Crazy I tells ye!

One is perhaps being a tad over cautious, but I am recalling a conversation here which cast some doubt on 24 hours being enough and ever since then we've been extra careful. tmukhub.proboards.com/post/405367/thread

It was two reports on TV, one on Newsround and another on the One Show. The latter said leave post for three days unless you want to go at it with a 1:9 bleach solution. Newsround was reporting on American scientists who were testing how long the virus can exist on various surfaces, cardboard was three days. That was way back before the lockdown started.

There is so much disinformation and poor reporting out there about the Current Situation that I check to see where info is sourced from and how. But if folk want to wait 24 hours, 3 days, a week or whatever before touching something I am not going to criticise as it does no harm.

i open the parcel and tip the item out without touching it, then wash my hands and just go with that, i read far too many competing random things about how long to leave it so i just gave up lol

i open the parcel and tip the item out without touching it, then wash my hands and just go with that, i read far too many competing random things about how long to leave it so i just gave up lol I've also been doing that. When my ER Prime arrived a couple of weeks back I opened the parcel *and* the toy box and tipped the plastic tray out, then washed my hands before playing with the toy. I got that one with Prime next day delivery, so couldn't trust that the toy box would've been handled cleanly. And I wasn't going to leave it a day or so because the Conjunx was having contractions and it looked like the following couple of days were going to be a little busy...

Okay, I think ball joints this small are a mistake. There's something going on with these two where one let is kinda springy and juts out, and they don't balance enough to stand up unless they're leaning forward comically. Blackjack has it worst, but Hyperdrives arm wants to pop out when you put him in car mode, which added to the leg issue makes him not fun to transform.
The balance issue is present on all the micros but these guys do seem to be the worst afflicted. Which is a shame, because they look good, the colours really work, if anything better than the Autobot originals.

Picked up Studio Series Scrapper yesterday, which means I'm just an Overload away from completing the most interesting Devastator. (Yes I'm going there.) It's not a bad toy - disappointing that the neck articulation is limited and that his left hand "claw" doesn't open and close, but there were sacrifices made for his combining aspect, I guess. What I *do* really like is that his alt-mode shovel actually has some articulation, despite being made from pieces of all four of his limbs. That's clever.

I relieved Dezzeh of his Armada Galvatron this evening. I have Megatron but it's such a good toy I've always fancied having his purple pal too. Colours on this are great. I'm really looking forward to reaquainting myself with all his play features.
This has now started me thinking I should finish off the few remaining Armada toys I don't have. Armada might not be the most glamorous line to collect, but the toys are good fun.

A lot of them are great, I really enjoyed it when it came out. We don't talk of Scavenger.
An Optimus Prime and Jetfire would look great though..!

I am now duty bound to point out that Pinwig has a giant purple cannon that shoots when you pull back on it.
They should have made those missiles white ......
