Fruitless B&M search for Daleks earlier led to me picking up Tracks as a consolation prize from Smyths.

Yeah, after my Road Rage experience I'm going to leave Tracks in a box for a rainy day. When I hate myself.
Good feelings about Earth mode Red Alert though! Better in hand than expected, I really thought the grey was going to be a bit boring compared to the Siege version with the blue and the battle damage, but it's fine really.
Never thought I'd be an 84-85 Autobot completist to the extent of paying well over standard retail for what are really quite slight retools, but here we are...

Slug and Tracks have arrived from Star! Slug is a beast! I like him even more than Grimlock. The red head is growing on me immensely. Spike can get in the bin. Tracks can wait… This is also I think my last preorder before Perceptor who isn't due until next year? My bank balance will appreciate that.
EDIT: ugh Track's legs are the worst.

Was surprised when BAT Grimlock and Mirage turned up two months early from Pulse. As was my bank balance
Finished paying off pennies for some Toy-Fu stuff. Free at last! So LG purple Megs and 2007 Movie Leader Optimus can now be said to be actually mine.

Finally managed to open the box that arrived on Wednesday. Slag is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely mind-boggling big he is. Why is it so disturbing seeing him like that? Is it because I'm used to Slags that big being MPs? Or is it that in Generations terms I associate the Dinos with being a bit smaller?
Gnaw's got his big booties on, but I'm surprised to find half his shark mode separate in the box. Is he Cliffjumper in disguise?
However... Wreck-Gar. What a magnificent looking figure. So true to the original. He is majestic. Fantastic. Aaaand... his hands are on the wrong arms. Umm...

Earthrise Runabout (the black one) is still just too damn dear...so far. The quest for one continues.

B&M finally had the Authentics Shockwave in yesterday, and only one at that, and he is of course now mine. A solid little figure, and decent enough for eight quid. The only downside is that this means that they had a restock, which means that they're never going to clearance these characters. I want one of the Grimlocks, but even eight pounds seems to much for him...
And on that note, it eventually occurred to me that these haven't only just appeared recently - thanks to the time distortion effects of the pandemics these have actually been on B&M's shelves for at least the last two years. Time to start wondering where their next decent TF stock will come from...

I have been hunting for Authentics Shockers in B&M for a while. Not seen one yet, but then the old stock just sits there gathering dust!
