I finally have a modern squeezeplay!
I have always loved this odd little chap and he is one of my only g1 survivors.
I honestly never expected to get this guy,
I like him, not perfect by any means, but still pretty good. He has elbows! which is the one thing the original is missing really. My copy is pretty floppy, which is my only real complaint. The shield/tail integration could be better, and the monster mode head that clips in place, really would have benefitted with being pinned.
But all in all I am pretty thrilled with this guy😁

Y'know what? Much as Squeezeplay is my favourite from this set, I think Cliffjumper might be the best toy. He's got a neat little transformation which sits just the right side of complex, and feels like I won't forget how to do it in a couple months.
He's got decent ground clearance and on mine all four wheels roll pretty freely, meaning he's got some fun zoomability.
I'm glad I didn't spoil this for myself by picking up Chase!

Picked up "Transformation 2 Transformation Warrior" which is a Metrotitan / Metroplex KO that has been popping up in ebay recently. Plastic is lower quality, shinier, and the colours are slightly different. Looks pretty good still and its by no means crap. The colours are reminiscent of Metrotitan but are not the same. I suspect that it was reverse-molded from Metroplex (possibly a KO Metroplex) as the tolerances aren't fantastic. Comes with all the Metroplex kibble, in Metrotitan parts colours (more-or-less). The sticker sheet is interesting because its not Metroplex's or Metrotitans. It might be a knocked off version of the Toyhax sticker sheet, or one of them, but I don't know. Not a bad set but not really worth the 60 quid its generally going for.
