Power of the Primes, 2018.
His second version in Legends Scale after the 2014 IDW Tailgate repaint
He's the only 84 Minibot not to have a Siege+ Deluxe version 85 needs Seaspray & Powerglide 86 needs Swerve, Tailgate and Wheelie

Wheelie had the SS86 version, and they usually serve as mainline stand-in's. And given the adherence to Sunbow Scale*, a tiny Wheelie that can sit on a Dinobot head is probably as good as it's getting for the lad.
*not to be confused with a sun safety scale

Picked up "Transformation 2 Transformation Warrior" which is a Metrotitan / Metroplex KO that has been popping up in ebay recently. Plastic is lower quality, shinier, and the colours are slightly different. Looks pretty good still and its by no means crap. The colours are reminiscent of Metrotitan but are not the same. I suspect that it was reverse-molded from Metroplex (possibly a KO Metroplex) as the tolerances aren't fantastic. Comes with all the Metroplex kibble, in Metrotitan parts colours (more-or-less). The sticker sheet is interesting because its not Metroplex's or Metrotitans. It might be a knocked off version of the Toyhax sticker sheet, or one of them, but I don't know. Not a bad set but not really worth the 60 quid its generally going for. I was just wondering how much that was going for. Yeah its a bit high. But Im almost glad of that. I had the chance to buy a decent condition original Metro Titan but just the figure and I couldnt be bothered customising the parts or tracking down expensive originals. If the KO had been dirt cheap Id have been kicking myself right now.

I have made several questionable purchases from Japan. They will be used for matts fanzine. So it's okay. It's okay. I am properly excited about one of them though. I wouldn't quite call it a holy grail, if only because its more curiosity driving the purchase. But it was at the top of my want list for about 7 or 8 years, ever since I found out it existed. In that time this is only the second or third Ive seen. And the first that wasn't ludicrously expensive. Its here, its here. The box was half destroyed. I think it might have been soaked through and rather than send it through the system where it would have dissolved it was left to dry out for a few days, which would explain the delay that was freaking me out. Couple of nice Toy-Fu items and a BWII under lay card along with the exciting item. Which I promptly broke.

Just got my latest fix of Dr Wu mini chaps, wheeljack, and mirror wheeljack, with bulkhead, and someone else. Alas I don't have the time to sit down and properly enjoy them at the moment, so they are patiently waiting for some free time.
I have to say, the Wu minis are really becoming some of my all time favourites. And man, they really make the titans feel like titans!
Also, I finally got an allicon. I love this unapologetically dumpy bastard. What a fantastic figure!

Phil's costing me money again. The 40 Years thread got to Huffer and it made me think on about those minibots I don't own. So now I have an original pre-rub Huffer. Missing a couple of stickers but the chrome is in very nice condition.

It's amazing transforming something forty plus years old and finding yourself thinking, oh hey, I did not realise that did that!
I just need Brawn to complete the original six, but I would like to get a red Cliffjumper because I think he's better with his own identity. I've got my original yellow one and a keychain red one, but I want an 84.

Comic Edition Shockwave arrived from Pulse. The Prime head is great especially his eyes - you can tilt it to get that Trimpe expression. Shockwave underwhelms in alt mode but is a great figure otherwise.

Just won an auction for a minor grail of mine. Never thought I'd own one because even though it turns up it's always silly money (by my standards, and for what it is), but I think the seller undermined themselves by posting too many rare-ish auctions at the same time so people were spreading their attention and I got it for a remarkably good price.
Not going to say what it is until I have it in hand, which is likely to be some weeks, but positively glowing from that!

Really liking the deco on Comic Shockwave, so much so that it's making me rethink my stance on Comic Grimlock...

Well, Breakdown's head has popped off straight out of the box and that's not a great start for the toy I'm least sold on.

Okay, the Breakdown mould is pretty trash. It looks fine enough in robot mode in these colours, but actually transforming it? I'll not be doing that too often.
Windsweeper is a delight, even if he has surprisingly loose joints for the second use of this mould..

Picked up a Legacy United Pointblank as it was only £12. A little disappointed that they have used the dreadful Rebirth headsculpt rather than the original toy version that inspired his appearance in the Japanese Headmasters cartoon, but otherwise a pleasant update.

SDCC Death's Head arrived from Pulse yesterday. Still in his packaging, which in itself is a thing of beauty thanks to that classic Death's Head logo at the top of the box.
Decluttering continued to go badly early in the week when I bought Legacy Chromia from Forbidden Planet and Generations legends class Gears & Eclipse due to arrive from eBay soon. Do I really need to buy a Bluestreak now so that I have all of the 84 Ark crew? Do I, he's now the only one left? Hmmm.
