Comic Edition Shockwave arrived from Pulse. The Prime head is great especially his eyes - you can tilt it to get that Trimpe expression. Shockwave underwhelms in alt mode but is a great figure otherwise.

Just won an auction for a minor grail of mine. Never thought I'd own one because even though it turns up it's always silly money (by my standards, and for what it is), but I think the seller undermined themselves by posting too many rare-ish auctions at the same time so people were spreading their attention and I got it for a remarkably good price.
Not going to say what it is until I have it in hand, which is likely to be some weeks, but positively glowing from that!

Really liking the deco on Comic Shockwave, so much so that it's making me rethink my stance on Comic Grimlock...

Well, Breakdown's head has popped off straight out of the box and that's not a great start for the toy I'm least sold on.

Okay, the Breakdown mould is pretty trash. It looks fine enough in robot mode in these colours, but actually transforming it? I'll not be doing that too often.
Windsweeper is a delight, even if he has surprisingly loose joints for the second use of this mould..

Picked up a Legacy United Pointblank as it was only £12. A little disappointed that they have used the dreadful Rebirth headsculpt rather than the original toy version that inspired his appearance in the Japanese Headmasters cartoon, but otherwise a pleasant update.

SDCC Death's Head arrived from Pulse yesterday. Still in his packaging, which in itself is a thing of beauty thanks to that classic Death's Head logo at the top of the box.
Decluttering continued to go badly early in the week when I bought Legacy Chromia from Forbidden Planet and Generations legends class Gears & Eclipse due to arrive from eBay soon. Do I really need to buy a Bluestreak now so that I have all of the 84 Ark crew? Do I, he's now the only one left? Hmmm.

There was rumours of a Selects version with the toy head sculpt but they vanished at about the same point as the ones for Select Windsweeper did. Windsweeper turned up in a boxset, maybe Pointblank will too? Possibly with the now also AWOL United Sureshot?

Assaulter is a lovely lovely figure, but the hip joints put the fear of god into me trying to transform him.

I had to look up Assaulter to find out if Assaulter was one of the ones I have had a play with. He's quite good. Lovely aircraft mode - gives very strong Bullet-Hell shooter vibes, and I did like his very Gundam-inspired carrier mode.
Not a bad one to snag at all.

He's one of the 3P figures that just about work in a generations display. I used to have him on show with T30 Springer and Sandstorm.

Speaking of delayed gratification, who should have just turned up at my front door but none other than Legacy Armada Prime. He was supposed to be here in April.
It's amazing how long lost pre-orders have a habit of turning up on the heels of other more recent ones. I think that's parcel number four in the last three days. Mrs P opened the door and said loudly 'Oh look, another parcel not addressed to me'.

Feeling the lack of robots from TFN so I bunged in a pre-order for the Go-Bot set. Not sure why, I've been thoroughly underwhelmed by them. Ah well, I'm sure they can be moved on if they do disappoint in hand.

I am also feeling the lack of robots this week, and have very nearly made several purchases at moments of sorting stress, so when I saw a msg from IDToys on FB they had SS86 BB in stock I was tempted so went to look.....
*THEN* I discovered they already had Vector Prime and the BB was £2 cheaper than Pulse. So I'm into the free postage zone and getting BB £2 cheaper.
**THEN** while writing that up on my spending spreadsheet I discovered I had BB and Sideburn's Pulse orders down on the spreadsheet TWICE!!!!
So today I have bought toys and have saved money. RESULT.
